I noticed some weird things about this.
In the shooting video, at 1:07 the officer seemed more sympathetic than the woman, judging by their body languages. Notice the emotion in the officer's voice, while he's trying to keep an authoritative demeanor at the same time battling his stress hormones. Notice the lack of sincere emotion in the girlfriend, who is watching her boyfriend die and is more concerned about making a video about it.
At the beginning of the video, when the girlfriend is interviewed in front of the crowd, she still lacks true emotion, and it looks contrived. The whole thing looks contrived. THEN notice the girlfriend mentions something about him "not looking like he wanted to be killed, shoot me, that he didn't want to die." These random statements almost have an admission of a guilty conscious, betraying her own lies and deceit.
What I deduce from analysis of this event is that this guy wanted to commit suicide for whatever reason and wanted to use suicide by cop as the method of killing himself, so he did something threatening to the cop like reaching for the gun when told not to. So the guy wanted to kill himself and make it look like one of these police shooting blacks incidents and it's obvious when you realize how the girlfriend is more concerned about making the video and being a spokesperson than helping him while he's sitting there dying.
The couple planned this so he could kill himself and be some kind of martyr and the girlfriend wanted to be the "witness."
