Being in a car implies intent to transport... the car is clearly not his destination. You can't see into the car as good as you can see the outside from inside the car, that's a huge advantage. There's a lot of obstacles to break the line of sight between the weapon you posses and the guy robbing you, who doesn't know of that weapon. 7 Years ago I was at a wedding in Peoria, later that night after getting some drinks at a place called McDuffy's we're approached by a heavy set man of a niggery complexion whilst walking towards our cars.
