As a german myself, I cant hear those all-embracing complains about Germans anymore. Of course I don't want to justify the crimes of SOME, but there had been good reasons for them to rise up. If we look at the whole history of Germany its clear that Germans used to be the black sheep of europe from the foundation on (ww1 is just a very simple example). Nobody wants to be treated like crap.
However, every nation has its shadow and of course every sane person agrees to condemn these crimes. At the same time most of these people call out for the crimes of a specific nation while denying or down playing the crimes of all the others. Maybe that's the only reason of the demonization of Germany. They can always point on us to cover up their own bloody mess.

I probably sound really akward now but the feelings I have when looking at that stuff and remembering what my grandparents told me about the pictures - the happy and sad stories - ,the letters and the objects make me very emotional.
I see, listen,read and got told (got to know) about another point of view. A point of view that is from the very time.
