literally just finished watching The Green Room, and the first 10 to 15 mins, I was skeptical and didn't really give a fuck. After a specific thing happens in this movie, it just becomes interesting and tense as fuck, but still a cool sort of macabre. Instant cult film, the less you know the better.
Found it through that Rainier Tamayo place where the dude streams movies that are usually in theatres now.

ITT : a lot of mainstream films with cult followings (with some notable exceptions and you probably know who you are).
I just got done watching Green Room from Jeremy Saulnier, and while its fuckin amazing, I don't know if it's been out long enough to know its a cult film, but it deserves to be.
As does Blue Ruin, Saulnier's previous film. Both are amazing and worth a viewing if you like gritty noire-ish crime fiction and impeccably directed psychological tension.
I figured this thread might be a good place to post this either way.
