ITT post your guitar and other anon make assumptions about you
washburn maverick series. BT4 maybe? picked it up at a pawnshop back in the late 90s with an amp.
also have a takamine acoustic electric, it's been in the closet for a couple years now, I forget what the fuck it is but I paid out the ass for it.
i should play more often : /
Similar to mine.
Fender precision 1997 modified for 2 pickups .
Can't take a pic of mine but it's an ibanez rga32
> pic related
Can't post a pic of it now, but I found one online. Peavey Raptor Custom Silverburst. Great beginner guitar, especially with my Peavey Vyper VIP 3 amp, which can play like several different instruments.
Rate my shit setup, boys.
Well if you don't want to I won't force you
Here's a dog
Picked this up from the pawn shop this afternoon. I'm not familiar with the brand but the guy said it's a good sounding amp. 10 watts and I only paid $85 for it.
Fenders have personalities especially with different pickups. if you use them with different amp or gear setups and play professionally of like to record its reasonable. I know guys with recording studios who actually rent them out to people who are recording along with custom or vintage amps and effects.
Squier 70s Modified Jazz Bass
90s Peavey bass
90s Fender Lone Star Strat
BC Rich Warlock
Ome open back banjo
Deering good time open back banjo
Handmade electric cigar box guitar
Several random cheapo acoustics and electrics
Single coil pickups/humbuckers sound very different, tele/strat pickups sound very different.
I've got higher output humbuckers, low output humbuckers, bright single coils, midrangey single coils
There's an incredible amount of variation in customised strats, both in feel and sound. the guitars inspire me in different ways. The blue 87 Strat front left is the best one though, it's just a sublime guitar and the one I'd grab if the house caught fire.
Straman? I've got Telecasters too. The one in the pic and another one built from spares.
Sick dubs and Sick Fenders, I only play Fenders. Only Thing I dislike is some of the colors. I really only play my Strats in Sunburst Black And Fiesta red only exception is my custom shop Jaguars in Lake Placid Blue and Sherwood green (big Frusciante fan).
shit guitar atually, regreted the purchase after few months
my soundcloud, been playing 2 years now
first thing is a joke, the rest are all very rough demos with all the solos being improv and most of the bass stuff aswell.
I love metallic finishes on Strats. Sunbursts or natural finishes on Teles. Never been into sunburst Strats though.
So I've got a burgundy mist, an aztec gold, an aquamarine metallic and a gun metal blue metallic.
I think my logic is that Teles are more "traditional" whereas Strats look like something from outer space. Or they did in 1954.
my only guitar, but cant see myself needing anything else for awhile. poorfag life.
Johnny Winter certainly never suffered playing one of those
Fuckin Christ nice Dubs again. I really only Do natural finishes on anything I own 2 non Fenders and those are an Ibanez Gem and Gibson V, the Ibanez being the only guitar with a "non natural" finish.
OK faggots, bring it on. Try to be original, but I won't hold my breath.
Partscaster. Lace sensor purple in neck, van zandt in middle, duncan little 59 in bridge.
I don't think you understand the purpose of the thread.
my actual favorite guitar I ever owned (no longer do) was a 1986 Ibanez pro line v. model pr1660 the finish was called cherry ice basically a metallic pink but it was the best sou nding guitar I ever owned. too bad they lost the copyright suit to jackson. they were better than a jackson v.
the bass says "It's OK your daddy didn't love you" and has been chucked off a stage and the guitar says "Skate fast Eat ass"
I'm more concerned about this thing in the corner. Is that a dog toy or a really gay scarf?
Left handed instrument based on the PRS24. But with extensive variation on the original design.
Back: single piece Sapelle.
TOP: Bookmatched Flamed Maple, carved top.
5 piece multi laminate. Rock maple, Black walnut & Ash with a scarfed black walnut headstock.
Ebony fretboard with dot markers on side only. No inlay.
double action truss rod.
Bare knuckle & Kinman Pickups. Gotoh left hand floyd bridge.
1 vol. 1 Tone. 5 way blade selector.
Candy cherry with faux binding on top.
Black tortoise effect on back.
Buffed to high gloss on body, Satin finish rubbed for faster movement on rear of neck.
Strat guy here.
Obviously I've been playing a LONG time and I got to laugh when people claim their first guitars were shitty. My first electric was a Hondo Les Paul copy and it sucked major penguin dick. It was made of fucking plywood and had pickups that sounded like a dog farting through a wet mattress. If you've bought a first guitar since about 1990 then you've bought a guitar that was plenty good enough to learn on.
Just purchased one of these second hand. Pic from Google search.
Yeah, I'm not sure what year this Nitro 2 was made but I know it was between 86-89. This is by far the best sounding guitar I've played on as well, it's all original too the only thing is that the original tromelo arm is gone so I'm using a replacement. Original hardshell case too tho.
Just borrowing the first act cuz I'm a newbie who can't restring the other guitar. Playing uke for four years, only have about a month's practice on guitar and only know 4 chords still have a rough time with chord transitions.
luthier built, flamed maple neck, seymour duncan pickups
Can't take a pic, so here it is, although is a bass
Cba to take a picture right now, here's a stock photo
It is very nice to play, there's a slime green version too but I preferred yellow.
I guess it's their whole niche, there are a couple with maple but I have a feeling they have a superiority complex for fender-esque shapes and meterials
Googled pic, this is it
too lazy to take own pic, bought it impulsively and loved it
Body built from scratch minus electronics and neck. You wont find this anywhere else in the world
This is my latest purchase. Cba taking a pic.
Most comfortable neck I ever played
this is mine, had it for about 3 years now
