Cabin in the Appalachians where I spent Christmas with my fiancé a couple years ago.
Used to live here, woke up to this view every day.
i've been looking for good ideas on a personal library.
Kind of like the idea of not having electronics in the room.
Just books, comfy chairs/couches, a desk, a fireplace, and some good views.
That couch. If I could find a couch.... I'm looking for a couch, and it at the very least had to be looking enough that I can lay between the arms without touching either. Thing is, I'm 6'6".
Love reading when listening to nature sounds, classical music, instrumentals, ambient trance, etc.
Record player would reduce the desire to search the internet that comes with mp3 players
You can still find classical music on record floating around in places like flea markets and record stores. Flea markets are cheaper, but stores are more likely to have intact vinyl. It's pretty much a flip.
Yes, but I more just want to not have it around as a distraction.
I'm a piece of shit that will just decide to browse /b/ for hours when a random word I read piques my interest.
I am a huge fan of electronics and modern tech, but I hate the idea of reading books on screens.
I need that physical book to flip through.
Maybe its from spending so much of my other time on computers that it is nice to be able to step away into other worlds.
I should head back to the local library and just read again.
That wonderful man. I actually am autistic -high functioning and asperger syndrome- and used the Harry Potter books as escape from the other kids growing up. It became my biggest thing I've ever been into.
They are fantastic because all ages and types of people can enjoy them.
I should reread them again.
Always wanted to chill in the Gryffindor common room.
Really want to live in a small house with a mountain in the backyard.
she was my favorite witch, though McGonnagal was extremely badass.
fucking love streams near the house.
Listen to it gurgling as I fall asleep.
/b/ is not too bad after midnight PST sometimes. The children are in bed and trolls tend to be gone at this time.
Used to live in a log cabin about 15 minutes outside of town. Pic related.

space holds the ultimate comfort
thread music theme
This is the secret to being comfy. Juxtaposition. Contrasts. By including but not focusing on the uncomfortable, you make its opposite that much more appealing.
It's not just the case with images, either. Last week I went out on a big hike in the cold (southern hemisphere), and when I got home a couple nights ago, my mattress felt like Nirvana. My room and heater seem that much more essential - but not enough to dissuade me from venturing out again into the cold to recapture that feeling. It's almost masochistic.
feels like being outside, very nice
going to sleep soon, thanks for a nice thread anons
current living arrangement, pretty cozy if you ask me
I don't know to "downsize pictures" on my phone.. also, too lazy to find out how. And yes I do, I have an HTC One m9 which has a 20MP camera. Could downsize them on my computer.. but I'm also feeling too lazy for that.
would you consider my living room comfy?
Still need to decluster the multimedia accessories
I did it.. LMFAO no, it really wasn't that hard.. this lake.. I want to build a cabin there.
took this pic last year when cycling
i love landscapes. just sitting there and watch the horizon is pure relaxation for me
not really for me, way too cold and uninviting imo
i like your dedication to music though, is that an essential 2 turntable?
i prefer wall decoration and natural color tones more than designer shit in white and black
some stuff on the table would also add a bit more comfyness as the glass in all the white makes it look so cold
it´s a decent setup nontheless, don´t get me wrong - just not what i´d call comfy for me personally
turntable is a project debut 3. As for music, my AKG k701 headphone isn't on the picture but it's a nice addition to the vintage setup (1979 marantz amp and b&w speakers).
I added a nice frame on the ground shelves but I like to keep it very minimalistic otherwise.
this is the view out where my patio is in december, cozy inside but cold outside
i really love this view, i don´t need much to be happy
oh yeah minimalistic that´s called - i like it a tad more cluttered - just somehow makes me feel comfier
pic related, my comfy sweetspot
