Awesome motorblock. Would love to try one some day. Im drivin Agusta
So, any tips?
I took my downpipes off last weekend and patched some holes that were appearing in em
put them back on and started the bike, they started smoking, both from the pipes themselves and from the headers.
any idea on what might be the problem?
Postan my small motor in a motorssss thread
some of it was this special putty stuff, the rest was aluminum cover + a kind of tape to wind over it
also repainted the thing with barbecue paint
but all of that stuff is heat resistant, and that's also not what the smoke was coming off of
Nice, my first and second were dirt bikes. 50cc kwasaki and 125ccsuzuki. Was terrified on the track by it back then but i loved field and nature trips on em. You do competitions?
Is probably either the putty or the paint or both of them heating up for the first time
If it's not coming out of the exhaust as you rev the bike, but just radiating off of the pipes then you're fine.
I really, really want to get into some hare scramble or enduro races on my 125
I've never raced before but I keep a good pace on trails and would love to test myself like that for once.
I'm hoping that after college I'll have money to get my bike raceable
Voxan was a French bike factory... But voxan is ended: the French government refuse to save the company
I know, that's why I'd probably only run like 2-3 races per season and just play ride with friends the rest of the year like I do now
690s still make me hard tho
Voxan are nice bikes, build in Issoire, in the center of France.
The engine was a 1000cc 72° 100 horse power.
They was expensive but beautiful, designed for pleasure...
If you understand French, go on wikipedia. Everything is explain.
What the shit are you talking about dude? I replied to the second post in the thread asking where I could buy one for my hyper.
That explains a lot
Titanium gas tanks are cool now I guess
I have that bike. It's magic. I love it.
Some OC here. This is a pic of my bike. An 05 crf450x
Factory Honda in America.
They run these tanks on the 450 supercross machines, but they run carbon fibre tanks for Motocross because of the extra heat
I was not employee by the factory, but I was born in Issoire and I am in love for French motorcycle.
Today, i save money to buy one, because they are pretty rare and expensive.
They build 700 bikes per year, finally they build 2814 bikes.
This is the English version of wikipedia about voxan: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voxan
My buddy just bought a '16 450x
Unfortunately not. Not even available to the public haha
Here's an extremely fresh CR250 somebody's selling near me.
A few vidéo about voxan:
I also like this. Maby on a honda cb or kawa xjr or a big air cooled suziki
The z800 is quick as shit but it has a crap turning circle and too high setting height even for me and im 6ft. This was my last bike before it was written off.
I do like the looks and mechanics of it but choppers never really got me (except the xdiaval) im not a speed junky but i don't see the thrill in driving a chopper, maybe because the weather mosly sucks out here and when it is dry and sunny i am radioactive.i could seeyself cruising trough spain on a chopper maybe.
weather cant suck as much as the uk where i drive, the blue one pictured did 120 and did it pretty damn quick, but after i got hit off that and got onto the z800 for a while i realized i need to take it a bit slower as im having to many close calls, hence why i got the vn800 classic.
So expensive but i could cruise that. Choppers are les involved in accidents i think.
Im jealous. I going to take an track introduction course by the end of the season. I love hard acceleration and countryside corners but honestly i am not very confident about 170kmh circuit cornering
They're very costly but sling random shit on it, that one has the rear fender from a fat bob, the front fender is from some 1980s sports bike, besides that all of the front end is from a 1980s tr1000, seat was hand made out of genuine leather, x4 k&n air filters, acel coils, highway hawk mustang tank, drag bars, hand made down pipes, slash cut exhausts...bits like that.
Once on a Racetrack, you dont´t want to ride on the Streets again. I swear.
Clean for sure. Here's a pic of my friends cr250r. As you can probably tell he unfortunately spends more time making it look pretty than actually riding it.
Shit man, i especially planning my riding hours when the roads are abandoned. Car drivers are stupid, blind and homicidal over here. I cant take a commuting trip without almost getting killed overhere. The biggest risk for a motorcycle rider are other peoples stupidities
>426 master race
Rebuilt the thing top to bottom after not riding for 6 years and damn it felt good. Made street riding feel like so much less fun
Yes, the ones that have to be extra vigilant and smart to stay alive are the dumb ones. All those car drivers texting or on the phone are perfectly fine.
sorry you never go outside
Project bikes sleep outside.
Bummer man. I live in SoCal so we have deserts, forests, dunes and all the good spots in between. CARB program pretty much fucked open trail riding though so a lot of the local spots I used to ride as a kid are fenced off these days. The street is fun out here I've got Mulholland and HWY 33 but these spots are such a burn because everybody on a GSXR thinks they're Valentino Rossi and it's always crawling with cops
I swear motorcycle vloggers give riders such a bad name thinking they own the road and are always in the right of way. Just because you're on a bike doesn't entitle you to shit
No, groms are not only bikes. Get an sv650 or ninja 650 or ninja 500 or gladius or fz6r or something. Groms are not full size and not suitable for learning not everyday riding.
Maybe ninja 250 if you have zero experience.
nah i'd rather not stay still for no reason
Do you live in the Rockies?
That's some good looking terrain
>Horror story time
My friend bought this turd for $600, rebuilt top and bottom. Took it out for second ride since rebuild and case cracks
I do not agree with you. Maybe the pass was not very civilised but this i just the kind of shituation where the biker gets wrecked from behind by a ond lady who was not aware of the slow cornering and breaks his back. I would also pass on that car like that just to ensure my own safety.
implying i even care about what people on 4chan think at this point
No not really expensive. A lot´s of parts also fit from the 450 KTM.
Well, i had no bigger Problems untlil now. I race´d it for 4 years now, most Enduro Races but Motocross tracks too.
Don't fall for the ninja 250. You will get bored of it and you will always be fixing a piece of shit that was trashed by its previous owner. Get any standard detuned v-twin 600cc opposed to an i4 or triple. They don't have the torque to loop you as easily if you get throttle happy. SV650, Ninja 650, FZ-07 are the sportier bikes but you could get something more like an adventure bike such as an NC700X or even an enduro DR650
I had one when I was 16. It was my first road bike after riding dirt since I was 5. They're good enough bikes that even veterans enjoy them. You can learn on it, and won't get bored within a month. They have HUGE aftermarket as well, and sound great.
Put a GSXR front end a zx10 rear spring on and it will handle much better, but as a noob you probably won't notice. Buy one wtih those done if possible.
Best part of SVs is that you can sell it for what you bought it for.
250s get boring really, really fast and you don't need a 250 if you aren't a fucking retard.
its a boring auto transmission applicance bike lmfao, mtoorcycles are supposed to be interesting.
>hue, im going to complain about someone having fun in a way that impacts nobodies life because i am a boring neet
itt overcompensating menchildren who think driving a bike will make them look cool but actually makes them look like fagots because everyone know that their just compensating for the small thing they have in the middle of the legs by putin another bigger thing in the middle of the legs pic related its my face when i see one of you on your little farty bike
>Calls someone boring
>Sifts through hours of mundane footage for that 20second sidewalk ride
Ya ok anon
>My mom won't met me buy a bike :((((((((((
Hours? I just hit the side button of my gopro and it highlights that spot in time. Not that it would be hard to remember a few hours of my day.
Also, a quick mirror check and he'd know whether or not he actually needed to pass the car to avoid an accident or not.
Otherwise, the pass was unnecessary and impulsive.
Or I didn't want to sit and wait for no reason on my 1100cc air cooled bike on a 90 degree day
anyway stay mad, i bet you're the guy that honks at bikes when they lanesplit
I don't like the riding position of a racer and the naked 1000 is too fast and too expensive for my skill level and wallet. I do like GS's and the ninT but too expensive and not my style.
bmw s1000rr masterrace
You are right, i got a lot of Problems but overcompensating? I dont´t know. I just like to got fast on Racetracks.
I´m not sure but my mom always says i´ve got a nice Cock.
Oh cool, the middle exhaust pipe isnt shiny. Best selling naked at the moment. Did you see the thay dudes blue grey customized mt09? How is the suspension? Nice bike. Jerky throttle?
And I bet you're the type of rider who openly shows dissatisfaction and anger when a driver opts to not make a risky turn at an intersection
Oh wait, you ARE that type of rider
Fuck out of here
Front and back suspensions are shit... to be changed asap... Engine is awsooooome tho... really the best to commute... 3 cylenders are great... and with the Akra exhaust... waouu
I got into biking because i didn't knew what to do with my life that moment and my mate wantrd us to take drivers school so we did. No i'm living gf job kids and weekly 150km trips i am 26yo. Motorcycling i the most enjoyable thing in my life .
Not as fun to me. I have as much land as I want to ride on because i live in the NJ pine barrens with hundreds or even thousands of miles of trails, tracks, and gravel pits to ride in just out my back yard. I love being in the woods and nature. To be able to stop for a break during a hard ride and turn off the bike to hear nothing but the wind in the trees and the birds chirping is something that I really enjoy and it's something that a street bike just can't offer me. I love the dirt riding community and I have lots of friends to go with. So right now for me, street bikes are just a different pace than what I'm used to and I like. So that's why I stick to the woods.
Here's a pic I took on a recent ride. I have a few others I can dump if anyone is interested.
omg so much dissatisfaction!!!!!
The thing is, riders have exciting lives. We aren't the type to be boring shut ins. We like riding, and cars, and guns, and the outdoors. If that bothers you then you can continue to stay inside and watch anime every day.
im thinking of buying a bike. probably the kawasaki ninja 650. is this a good bike? im new to motorcycles
I appears to have the best engine ever since the Ferrari F50 engine. Susp cassettes are expensive tho. Nice bike. Considered the mt03 headlamp? They cut corners on minor places but a very nice and quality and affordable bike over all.
Yes, its good.
I don't need to dream, I live it every day. If you aren't trolling then i really hope your life starts to improve. Just know that you can't sit there waiting for it to happen, you need to make it happen.
Hm, my life is not boring. I do hiking, ride bicycle, do a lot of other sports, eat healthy. I also got some friends and consume Alcohol and other Drugs on party´s with them.
My Dick is also ok, so i think you are wrong with that.
I've posted 20 webms and countless pictures in this thread. Learn how replying works.
That's what a closet homosexual would say to divert the attention from his latent homosexuality.
>I don't need to dream, I live it every day.
Are those WebMs supposed to show that?
Because if that's the case, then you're definitely dreaming.
What do you think of hare scrambles? Ever done any? Do you like it? I've been seriously considering signing up for some. I live right close to where they hold a lot of the ECEA races. I think I'd be able to hold my own. I'm a great single track and enduro rider, but I've never done anything motocross style before. From what I understand they don't involve much motocross tho.
No need to brag on the Internet son.
Also, pic related.
Waiting for Norton to finish development on their new bike and make a consumer version
>Because if that's the case, then you're definitely dreaming.
Yeah, I guess having tons of fun and going fast don't count. Silly me! I should just stay inside and post on 4chan about how much I wish I wasn't a boring nobike.
Learn that without a trip no one knows what else you've posted fuck yard
Also know that your little klx250 isn't a real bike, and that even if you owned a proper machine, no one would care because you feel the need to show the world your sidewalk adventures
Not 100 percent sure what you mean. I rode Red Bull Erzberg Rodeo once, i didn´t make it to the finish but it still was fun.
Not my problem you can't follow a reply chain. Try enabling the inline quote showing in the 4chan settings?
Anyways, my ducati isn't a klx250 and costs more than anything you'll ever buy so I'm pretty confident in posting my boring webms. Keep whining about it, I get off to people that are jealous of my ride.
Confederate Motorcycles. Built in my hometown.
The most exciting part of your life is literally about going fast on your bike.
How fullfilling and exciting.
Is pic related you?
MV agusta brutale 800 rr
You like having that banana between your legs huh?
Maybe if you're lucky, surgery technology will improve enough during your lifetime that you'll be able to have a real big banana one day.
I like the dragster with forged wheels better. Grey black. My dreambike.
>he's never come inches from certain death
>he's never ran from the police
>he's never brought his bike places it wasn't supposed to be
>he's never gone 200mph
>he's never gone 0-60 in 3s
>he's never raced another bike on a twisty mountain road as hard as you can go
>he's never spanked a supercar in a race
>Implying I drive a shitbox polluting earth with my shitty egoism giving cancer to everyone and everyting
>Implying I can't have an even more exciting life full of happiness and excitement without a stupid bike that is dangerous to everyone who rides it and whoever is around it.
I build my bikes from the frame up and make a profit on whatever I decide to sell.
Ducati is the iPhone of the motorcycle world. Enjoy making payments on that prestige priced turd
That poor fuck. Running .5 mph is the fastest he's gone. Kek
Payments? lmfao. Bought outright. Payments are for retards.
We all know every person has a ducati and knows whast it is and they are cheap and accessible
oh wait thats iphones nevermind
It was only 10.5k. Bought outright. Why would I finance something that is 10k? To pay more than the bike cost? Yeah, no. Sorry you're poor.
>I only ride gluten-free cageless vegan motorcycles.
>The cafe racer really is the purist form of mototcycle, other bikes have too many toxins
>I make all of my motocycles in small eco-friendly batches, support local bikes instead of corporate motorcycles.
>My micro brew BMW tastes much better than the stuff you can get at the store.
>I am a faggot.
Oh yeah, buying outright for the price instead of financing and paying more than the price of the bike would have been a waste of money alright!
Done replying as you're obviously a troll. Hopefully you get your life on track someday.
I don't only ride cafe
I can enjoy completely different machines and have a more enjoyable experience doing it than you can, all the while spending much less money
>You bought a dual sport but live in a city faggot
love when another anon wrecks a nerd thats mad at me
