I can name flaws without end, but lets go for 3 big ones to keep it short:
GTA Online is a restrictive, money-squeezing pay to win bullshit nonsense game mode.
The fucking DRM in and around the game is utter cancer.
There's virtually nothing to do after the main story has finished. If GTA5 is your first GTA, or especially your first high budget open world game, it would be reasonable to think it has excellent post-story content, but compared to GTAIV it is garbage.
And lemme add one minor pet peeve: cops are psychic. You can test this. Get 5 stars, go hide in an underground tunnel, look at your minimap: cops swarm the surface above you. They don't go where they last saw you, they just go to where you are, because programmers were probably forced to cut corners to release the game faster.
There are dozens of similarly minute errors with the game which individually don't seem to make much of a difference, but the net result is the game loses... A sort of unpredictability that could result in some really amazing and unplanned events. Because GTA5 was extremely lazy on these details, the world has a certain shallowness that doesn't sink in until some time into the game.

I finished it on xbox 360 and later PC so I can't say I didn't like it, I liked it a lot. Problem is that city was so generic you cannot really go more boring place... Especially since we had two similiar cities in a franchise before (gta 3, and gta 4, arguably san andreas had similiar city and setting too), at least they went away from going super-realistic (like in gta 4) which I'm generally not a fan of in games.
