Anyone have any luck with lucid dreaming?

I've tried off and on, but have never gotten farther than realizing i was in a dream and quickly waking up once.
>>
Yep I get them a few times per month. Last one I had I was back in like 5th grade or some shit and it was during recess and I could just run and dive and start flying everywhere. Pretty sweet
>>
Used to do it every night a few years back, but I always woke up too tired in the morning. I prefer sleeping.
>>
>>692260812
sounds awesome
i'd love to go back to my elementary playground in my dreams
the school has expanded so much that no much is left from when i was there
i know the layout is still in my mind though
>>
>>692261450
you already dream multiple times every night
you just forget about most of them

No shit.

Ive had insane experiences before due to this. Been on other planets as other beings or bodyless entities. It sorta leaves you with a weird feeling like you want more
>>
>>692259855
you have to stabilize the dream
>>
The trick is to do that thing you use to remind yourself that this is reality, when in the dream. I had one just from counting my fingers a few times a day for like 3 weeks ,it was an accident i had a lucid dream i guess. It was truly a mind blowing experience being conscious in my dream.

That doesn't work for me. When I remember the test, the conditions suddenly show up in the dream, and I assumed I didn't notice them before.
>>
>>692259855
not really lucid dreaming but once i woke up feeling like i was falling from a building and there was a ball of white light above me and it just flew out the window
>>
I find lucid dreaming is easier when my body is lying flat on its back.

Also, try staying away to the point where you find it trouble keeping your eyes open. Don't let yourself fall asleep but neither put so much energy in that you wake yourself up. In this medium of wakefulness and half-asleep-ness your mind will wander on its own for the most part. It's almost like you are dreaming but you are technically awake, thus not in REM sleep. Some inventors and intelligent people have used this intermediary state of mind to allow their mind figure out their projects. Remember to have paper and pen handy to write down anything relevant.

Heard this is a good way to get sleep paralysis.

Nn shadow people and hearing creepy noises.

faggot is describing self induced sleep paralysis, not lucid dreaming. Do not try. This is a "bleach and ammonia crystals" post
>>
People who experience lucid dreaming are usually the worthless losers of society. Nobody cares about your faggoty fantasies. You're either dreaming up your world or using your shit computer to generate it for you.

Why not get off your fat asses and make your retard dreams a reality?

Oh right: you don't have the balls.

when i was younger i used to have one long dream(of many different dreams) it felt like it took the whole night and i was able to think and act just as i did in real life it was the coolest thing ive ever felt once you actually gain control its the best high youll ever have

>sleep paralysis
Yeah, that is true. Just remember those shadow people aren't real and are all in your head.

I'm not sure of I'm just lucky or everybody has their own "dedicated" shadow person but my "personal" shadow person is very motherly. So motherly that it reminds me of my mum. I'm not sure if a) the shadow person is projecting my mother because it is what I am most familiar with or b) the shadow person is supposed to represent my mother. I'm hedging the former. I'm not close to my mom or have any weird thoughts about her. She's really just kind of there. LOL

>>692263242
It helps me lucid dream. It's as if my brain is getting ready to dream. I really don't understand the fear of sleep paralysis. I find it a challenge to wake myself up and speak. I can actually hear me trying speak but of course it's just me mumbling.
>>
>>692259855
I may be the most mundane lucid dreamer. Whenever I realize I'm in a dream, I just summon a girl, the proceed to put my face in his ass. She farts and I wake up

I have a question dealing with a very specific conditions.

Have you have had vaginal penetrated sex in your dream but never having had sex before and then later in your life have had vaginal penetrated sex? If so, did what it felt like in your dream feel any similar to real life?

I know dreams are just dreams but I do believe they can play a role in revealing things in your subconscious. Things that are so much "hidden" from you but things that you push in the back of your mind to protect your conscious mind as a mental and emotional stability self-protection measure.

What do you think about having this dream for yourself? Imagine dreaming you are in space with stars all around you and the platform you are standing on is made out of stars/star dust. You see a stranger, a woman you don't know. Turning around you see yourself floating! S/he's is you but not you at the same time. How can s/he be? You are staring right at him/her. This other you asks you to jump off the platform of stars and then fly. You don't because you are scared of falling. The strange woman on the other hand isn't and tries. She succeeds is now floating with your other self. You see it is possible, not only with a stranger but with yourself. In the end you fail to take the leap of faith and wake up.

What does this dream mean to you?

I have them almost every night.
Suggestions to dream lucid alot
...Play a shit ton of video games
The ones where you have to actually move things and walk around and interact with things.
The ones that really got me lucid are
Dishonored
Far cry 4
Skyrim
Dead island (not recommended)

And it has to be first person games.
Stealth games do it for me

you know im not quite sure what you are trying to say/ ask regarding this, but ive had very profound experiences while lucid dreaming. You see when i lucid dream i never have full control over where i am or whats going on, but im aware that im asleep and usually i can will things to happen or appear, but once i "woke up" in a white room with a table, two chairs and myself, and we just chatted about life and feelings, it was really surreal, literally it was just me and me

And if you get good enough you can even wake yourself up in your sleep.
I do this alot beleive it or not.
Usually when I'm about to die or some bad shit is chasing me or I'm getting g Fucking emotional.
Lucid dreaming has its ups and downs but it is very rewarding once you get it down.
But once you start lucid dreaming you start getting more of those"fall in love with a girl. Then wake up" dreams. The. Feel like shit all day.
>>
>>692266718
that may just be you because my dream usually end exactly when i want them to, sometimes they don't end and i get stuck unable to wake up and have several false awakenings

>lucid dream i never have full control over where i am or whats going on, but im aware that im asleep and usually i can will things to happen or appear
I have this kind of lucid dream the most, almost every other night. At least for a brief moment. Often I go back to not realizing I'm dreaming. I still have trouble having dreams where I am in full control like what most people link lucid dreams are. Most of my lucid dreams are self-aware and I can well things to happen or appear.
>>
>>692259855
Can I give you some real life advice that might save your life (totally serious). Don't try to fuck with your dreams. I did. I did a lot. I got very god at lucid dreaming to where 90% of my dreams I realized I was dreaming and could do whatever I wanted. I even could visualize space with a SHIT TON of astars and beautiful sights. But in the end, you'll RUIN YOUR SLEEP. You'll get to a point where you get good at realizing you're sleeping and you won't be able to sleep correctly. You'll wake up when you should be asleep and you'll use brain power when you need to be resting. Once you train that brain muscle there's no going back. I don't think you realize how bad this is for a person. Don't fuck with this shit....

Not really true. I just recently broke up with my 1 year gf like 3 months ago and I dream about her and past gfs. And some crushes only.
>>
>>692259855
Did it successfully over almost 4 years at least 4 or 5 times a week
My advice:
Don't
It messed me up big time to the point where I couldn't distinguish between dream and reality.
Almost killed a guy because I thought it was a dream and wouldn't matter.
It was difficult to stop the lucid dreaming after that because it became natural to do it
>>
>>692266718
>Usually when I'm about to die or some bad shit is chasing me or I'm getting fucking emotional
>Not "going back in time" in your dream to revert the moment you lose/die/get knocked out

>Not spinning to teleport to another location and often going to what seems to be a completely different dream/universe
Shiggy diggy
>>
>>692267124
looks like we are in the same boat!! lucid dreaming is really not what people think, shit fucking happens wayy out of your control, sometimes it can get scary as fuck, sometimes you cant even move your own body in your dream, your just an observer.
>>
>>692267139
I'm interested in this. I want to fully control and be aware of my dreams. As if I were to close my eyes and be transported somewhere else.

The worst thing for me when I lucid dream is sometimes my mind. Instead of bringing my good things to a dream. It brings my worst fears
Like open waters and loneliness.

I always get this one same drama every couple weeks or so.
>be me
>in a crowded mall type district
>There's a big red bridge
>separates the place I'm at and another place over the bridge
>in the middle there is a peice of clear ocean
>bridge is about 1000 feet up.
I always look at the bridge and automatically know
>Everytime I look at it I get really scared.
>then after I look at it I'm always under it.
>falling towards the water.
>(I can feel the wind and the weightlessness.)
>it makes my stomach feel Fucking awful.
>I fall in the water
>my worst fear is reality to me
>great white sharks in the distance all around
>I look down
>It's all black feel things grazing my leg
>item suddenly underwater
>can breath but can't speak

the first one i can remember was the most retarded shit ever as i was new to the whole lucid dreaming thing
it started off with me sitting down in the air, knees down and hands grabbing my ankles.
from there i would float upwards and lose balance suddenly going sideways and spinning around going backwards and weird shit
hit my head on the power lines that was in my dream. terrifying as fuck
high speed backwards flying while holding my ankles like trying to fly on a magical flying toilet rug.

>getting more of those"fall in love with a girl

THIS!!!!!!

There is this dream girl who I think is my friend or at least a very familiar acquaintance. She is so beautiful: pale, almond eyes, and somewhat curly hair. I don't dream of her often but when I do it's so hard. I act actually like I would imagine I would in real life. I'm basically a low functioning socially retard. Weirdly though in a lot of my dreams I'm more willing to speak than in real life, although I still work in my socially autistic parameters. But with her I act like me in real life.

Sadly, in the few times I have dreamt of her she only appears for a brief time. Often whenever I change rooms or go into another building she disappears. Strangely, the more I dream of her, the more self-aware she is of being in a dream. It's almost as if she is dreaming too.

In my dreams, my negative emotions come out unhindered. I do things I would never consciously do in real life. I'm embarrassed whenever I wake up. There was this one dream where I, my dream me anyways, allowed my anger get the best of me. It's as almost I was enjoying my anger. She was there but only for a brief moment. When I turned my head I saw her. She looked disgusted. She didn't say anything and faded away. I had this feeling like she was watching me the whole time. It also felt like she knew she and I were in a dreamg. Almost as if she was observing me as I dream. I then woke up.
>>
What I used to do is to try to find myself in a sleep paralysis'ish state.
That would really enhance my chances to have lucid dreams.

Now I do have a warning, I did lucid dreaming for over 10 years, and you do get tired since you trick the brain to act awake even though you should be resting.

Also, it's really hard to dream normally, sometimes I have to actively choose not to act out in a dream so i could get some proper rest.

Also smoking weed and falling alseep in a munchie coma, would hep me get through a night without having intese trange dreams.

Because lucid dreams are usually intense, and strange.
>>
>>692268797
Whenever you dream about a person it's someone you have seen in real life.
Your mind can't make up faces.
So anon you've met this girl sometime and thought she was pretty. So your dream is trying to recreate her image and makes you think she's real and she's beautiful.
>>
>>692263837
This.

Numbers are always a dead giveaway. Not being able to dial a phone or input a number or even write anything down is one of the keys I use for lucid dreaming. However, after noticing this, if I try to dial a number in real life and for whatever reason i get it wrong two or three times in a row, it really creeps me out.

Neat! Good to know.

>your dream is trying to recreate her image
Funny you should mentioned this. Her appearances changes ever so slightly through my dreams but she has the same standard features. So I know it's her. It's like my memory is glitching.

The first dream I had of her, or at least the first dream I remember, is where she had large black pupill which contained what reminds me of swirling strands of nebula of green, purple, and deep blues, all accented with subtle silver stars.

All the other dreams of her, however, she has regular eyes.
>>
>>692259855
I always have. Normal dreams seemed weird to me growing up.. like. Why would you have a bad dream? Stayed in one dream for like 60 years. Had a wife and kids and a good life. Woke up and sobbed for hours because it was all gone. Still fucked up about losing my kids. Don't go too far in OP.

Have any of you seen time that held up for at least a glance or two after you notice a clock?

Have any of you "read" in your dreams? I am able to read a short paragraph before things start becoming glitchy.

Have any of you seen yourself in a mirror? Again, things becoming glitchy but I'm surprised at how well my image holds up and follows my movements.

Have any of you watched television on the telly set in your dreams?

Have any of watched television while the entire show was your dream. Kind of like you were in the show but with the perspective of camera, i.e, perspective of the telly?

Damn. I still dreams about girl I loved. There are about 5. The details on mine are almost exactly everytime I dream of one of them.
It fucks me up when I'm dreaming and realize it's a dream. I always think of raping but I could never get myself to do it. Guess I'm too much of a moralfag.
>two I can't even rape a girl in my dreams
>>
I did this alot during my youth, sorta faded more and more away when i got older and got to know about beer.

My trick was to be aware of certain stages of getting into sleep, when i finally entered the dream, i could actually look at my hand in the dream and wave it.. then i experimented by waving the hand in reality. Some times this made me wake up, but with training i could wave my hand in real world without waking.

Allso I could build the world and do whatever the fuck i wanted, however the trick is not to be too amused/excited, that will make you wake up.

Be cool, don't exagerate, start with small things, and you learn to build worlds or fly wherever the fuck you want :D

since there's really nowhere to say it, i'll say it in this thread faggots. not greentexting because lazy

usually my dreams are pretty fucking weird, but the one i had last night surpasses them all. so in the dream i'm like 30 years old, and i'm in the hospital room watching my wife giving birth with the doctors around and shit. the baby comes out, it's a boy, we're all happy and shit and we go home. at night, i go to the baby's room to check on him, and as i step in, the little fucker is opening the window and is about the leap out. before he does, he looks at me and winks like that one bus scene from spiderman 3. he jumps out like a god damn frog and i'm watching from the window, he just fucking starts jumping on top of the buildings parkouring around like a mad cunt, doing backflips and shit. then i start flying and chase after him, when i catch up to him i fire a fucking red laser beam at him and he dies in an explosion, then i wake up

what the fuck does that mean
>>
>>692272093

>>692259855
Yep, used to practice it and I got great at it. Gave it up because it was fucking with my head too much. I couldn't get a restful night sleep because I'd always be having crazy dreams and sleep paralysis.
Protip: if you ever get sleep paralysis, just keep your fucking eyes closed. You'll hear weird shit and you'll feel weird shit, a common thing for me would be hearing growling and hissing. But you'll come out of it, it's not a big deal.

Not really related to lucid dreaming, but in high school i had a dream that i toon shrooms, and then a few years later when i actually did take shrooms, it was exactly like i dreamed. I legitimately had an accurate psycadelic experience in a dream having never done one at that point. Makes you think...
>>
Every time I lucid dream it's a terrifying experience. It's really hard to describe. Closest thing I can compare it to would be like that part of inception where they say that when another person's mind recognizes you're there it'll try to stop you. As soon as I realize it's a dream my mind turns on me. If in in a crowd of people during the dream and realize it's a dream they all turn on me. First it starts with them staring at me, then the actions vary but they move towards me and I'm filled with dread. Why does this happen to me?
>>
>>692259855
I had one once but didn't realise till I woke up. I was standing at a local train station and for whatever reason it just occurred to me that I was dreaming. Everything went white. I someone recognised what was going on, and pictured Scarlett Johannson. Then I woke up.

Wake up, Anonymous.
>>
Have anyone of you experienced something like this?
Sometimes I lay on my bed, and as I'm falling asleep, a start to see a flash of many images inside my head. Then, I feel like many small explosions in my brain (I think that's what having a stroke must feel like). Then I feel as if I was floating and about to leave the room through the ceiling. During all of this I have trouble breathing and feel as if my arms and legs weight a ton.
It has happened a lot of times to me. But not so much recently.
>>
>>692259855
I can occasionally "fly" in lucid dreams, but I cant generate thrust

instead I have to grab fistfuls of air and pull myself up into the sky.

I also cant make myself descend, I think for fear of falling. I have to pick s landmark thats higher than I am (skyscraper, tree, etc), swim-fly over to it,and climb down manually
>>
All of mine were through WILD. They aren't bad but in all honesty if you're looking for a little better, Wonderlands or Tulpas in all honesty we're way more nice. Takes diciplin, but you'll be able to get the succ anywhere any time any place.
>>
>>692259855
I don't but I feel like it happens to me all the time. I realize what I'm doing and I'm able to control everything to my will. But then I wake up, and I realize I never left the bed.

I get them when I take hydrocodone or oxycodone with promethazine! No lie, cool as hell. Some are scary though, like demon ghosts in your house trying to get you and possess you.. That was the last one But usually pretty chill lol

lucid dreams are often tied to sleep paralysis
>>
>>692265094

I can't fly so much as float. I can run and jump and float for a while. I have trouble thrusting in a certain direction but I can somewhat twist my body to an adjacent direction. Then I would float back down and jump up to float again.

I have no trouble descending. I wish I could ascend and stay up!
>>
>>692277702
I'm only able to wake up if I close my eyes and focus in waking up (don't know how to explain it better)
>>
>>692277499
Could be astral projection it's better than lucid dreaming you basically become a ghost and you can see like shit irl happening while you sleep like u see a lil boy get raped by a granpa and in the morning you hear it on drama alert
>>
>>692278055
Yeah, some people told me it was astral projection. But when I float, I don't see things how they really are. I recognize the place as my house, but clearly there are different things
>>
>>692277499
definitely sleep paralysis, my girlfriends gets it if she sleeps without a fan

people describe it as feeling like someone is sitting on you or holding you down. some cultures mythicise it as demons or witches

The Popo Bawa is a real intetesting case. Rapist boogieman that appears every few years in some bumfuck country. Dozens of men have reported his molestations; its a form of culture-bound mass hysteria

happens to me too. your psyche really doesnt like you fucking around too hard in your subconscious. You can drive yourself crazy and your mind knows it

every time I realize Im lucid people in the dreamimmediately try to convince me Im not. I usually get violent "proving" its a dream

someday Im afraid theyll take me to the psychward while I scream that Im dreaming, this isnt real life, etc even though Im awake

Whenever I comment to my dream characters that this is a dream one of two things happens. 1) The dream characters, usually adults, don't understand what I'm talking about and the dream moves on without them or the dream turning on me. 2) My dream characters either realize they are in a dream or they already know. I find that the dream children take this information easily. Sometimes they take benignly advantaged of being in a dream and want to play.

Only had two short-lived lucid dreams. I've only recently tried getting back into the habit of reality checking and writing down dream. One lucid dream I remember clearly was me looking down on my right hand, once I noticed I had an extra thumb a large bright light slowly took up my view, then I woke up.

>>
Not lucid, but dreamed I got shot in the face last year. drug deal gone bad

Usually you (or at least I) wake up before getting hurt in a dream, but I dreamt right through getting shot & dying

Felt chunks of my skull exploding out the back of my head, my girlfriend's screams fading and everything going black as I tried to move, paralyzed, feeling the blood pool around me before all feeling faded away, then losing myself in a pinprick of roaring white light that became a tunnel

it really fucked me up for a while. I never believed in chakras until that; I felt the most intense crazy whirling sensation right where the bullet went in my forehead for weeks

If you want to lucid dream all you have to do is scream 'i do believe in fairies, i do, i do!' over and over again.

Well. The one and only time I had a lucid dream, was when I dropped some acid after getting shitfaced at a bar. Now usually you are in complete control of the lucid dreams. This dream however was different. I had control over my physical form, and anything withing my reach. All else was thrown to the wind of an acid induced hell frenzy. Night terror doesn't describe the trails I went through. I definitely learned a lot about myself. When I did wake up, I went into my backyard and contemplated life.

I get minor control over my dreams very often but everytime i do i wake up shortly.
Best i can tell is when i'm dreaming normally my brain is in stupid mode, i'm usually really easily tricks and cant do basic logic things but after i realise i'm in a dream i get smarter and try messing with things and the smarter i get the more "awake" i get so i usually wake up within a few seconds of trying anything significant. So far the notable thing i've managed to pull off before waking up: Chain teleportation, god tier telekinesis, materialising a girl, hypnotic orders, time manipulation, phasing through walls, energy constructs and turning into a giant thunder god all in different dreams of course as i don't have long to do shit like this without waking up. Stuff like flying and telekinesis is fine and they happen in like 80% of my dreams because i'm so stupid in my dreams i just think that's normal and it doesn't get me thinking.

I died a couple times.

First was being killed what a pig demon for not worshiping him. Immediately after he punched me everything was pitch black. I had the feeling that I was dead. I was conscious in the darkness for a while.

Second time was when a train derailed and one of the oil takes exploded while I was waiting for the train to pass in my car. Moments before I wanted to move the car backwards just in case the train would derail. When the oil tank pieces projected to my car it killed me. There was a millisecond moment of feeling like I died. Yet after I died I still saw everything, the destruction. My consciousness was flying into the sky. Before I woke up I was shooting up into the clouds.

I mean I enjoy the raping but it takes up all my lucid time

I had one of the coolest dreams the other night and I was sort of controlling it. I wanted to see how it would go if I didn't really interfere. Anyway
>Dream starts
>I'm in a school bus with people from my high school
>Thinking how cool it is my mind still remembers these people from years before
>We pass by a McDonalds that just fucking explodes
>Keep going on our way
>We loop back to where we were
>Bus runs out of gas and is just riding on it's momentum
>Bus stops right in front of the same fucking McDonalds
>Think to myself "I swear to god if this fucking things blows up again"
>It does
>People in black suits come out
>People run out screaming
>Police instantly arrive
>Run the fuck out of the bus and want to go home
Should I keep going?

Have any of you ever felt pain in a dream? I was in this large super market, no one was there except for this african american near the watermelons. I approched him telling him to stop, when suddenly he stabbed me with a watermelon. Shit felt weird, didn't really hurt but I felt weaker and out of breath.

>they are real

If they are real then what does this shadow person want from me? >>692264576
>My "personal" shadow person is very motherly.

The first time I had seen this shadow person was several years ago. I was having sleep paralysis in the morning. The sun was shining and I could see my room as clearly as seeing during sleep paralysis. I saw my mom clearly in the corner where my door was! See was just looking at me. I thought nothing of it. She's my mom checking on her son. Then this shadow person who looked like my mom was hugging me as I laid on my bed. Again, I wasn't afraid. I thought it was my mom after all. But I did think it was weird. I was getting thoughts of fearing of who I thought was my mom was hugging me close as more than a mother and might even molest me. I of course was grossed out by this. I wasn't sure if I was dreaming at this point. I was afraid that if I was and I tried to wake up then things would get awkward. So I was hopping that she would leave. Eventually I woke up and the shadow being left.

>The pole is floating above the entire thing with nothing to support it
>The man assures me I'll make it home
>Start thinking this is some special type of cable car or something
>Can't figure out why the pole above is just floating
>Nothing else looks off in the entire dream thus far either, but then again I just passed the same exploding McDonalds
>The "Cable car" arrives and we get in
>There's no driver
>In fact all there is is like 6 poles inside with handles
>It's literally just a box with poles in it

I should add that this motherly shadow person also touches me tenderly. I have felt this shadow person several times. Maybe 3 to 4 times. I can't remember. Each time were spaced out a year to several years.

The last time I felt the presence of this shadow person was when they were rubbing my stomach. It was during night so I couldn't see details. She was as unseeable as any human in darkness It felt like they were ever so subtly working towards my private area. This time this shadow person only had a strop presence of being my mother. I'm not sure if this is because it I have rationalized that it isn't or that the shadow person is trying to be more subtle. Because they reminded me of my mother I tried to wake up. Of course I was having a sleep paralysis episode. So I tried to grunt (for lack of a better word) and move. I eventually woke up and the shadow person left. I have yet to see this shadow person. Then again, I have yet to have a serious case of sleep paralysis. I had some minor ones but I usually fell back asleep.

When I was 14 (I'm 28 now), I heard about LD for the first time and started practicing. It took me about 10 years to reach the point where I can do it at will. It somehow doesn't work when I have smoked weed. The best things are taking drugs in a dream (and get high) or having sex and then waking up with a real orgasm. I'm working on staying in the dream when I orgasm, but that is really hard, since I completely lose focus and wake up shaking.
>>
lucid dreaming was used by historical sects of witchhunters.

they would "project" their astral form over the fields of their village to fight a psychic war against the witches who would blight the harvest with their evil eye

the Catholic church ended up executing most of them, I think. The Pope considered them warlocks as well

My coolest dream was me dressed as Red from the first generation. I was in my garage with the doors open. The time seemed to be early evening with the sun being orange. I was just staring outside then I noticed what I was wearing. I looked at my hands and body. I then raised my fist up and made a little bump gesture like Ash Ketchum does. The dream only lasted for 20, maybe 30, seconds. It was so cool!

My first Pokemon game was in Generation II / Johto, Pokemon Silver. I guess in my dreams I'm a Genwunner.

I bought a nootropic to see if it made a difference while I was in trade school. It was called Alpha Brain made by ONNIT. So I was taking that, plus before bed time because I work out regularly I was taking ZMA. PLUS! I have a slight addiction to over the counter sleeping pills, I tried shifting to melatonin. Had some fuckkkkkkeed up dreams. So use those 3 supplements if you have a chance and can afford it.

To sleep paralysis:
lay flat on your back
arms at side
close your eyes but dont relax into sleep
refuse to move
no matter how much your body wants to
DONT MOVE
wait....

lucid dream:
start by remembering dreams - journal
and lay in bed with eyes closed every am
think about your dreams

Now, train yourself to a cue
wear a digital watch
or rubberband on hand
check watch or snap rubber band often
like really often, every few minutes
whenever you think about it
you'll automatically start doing it more
including in dreams
If watch, the numbers will be fucked up
If rubberband, it'll feel "wrong"
this is how you know youre dreaming
Now, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE
>>
>>692288442
Okay, tell me why you believe that, I'm actually curious. What would you call it when I become aware of my dreams and can manipulate them? Is there another word for it?
>>
who's this faggot who's denying everything. so fucking annoying.

we get it - you vape.
now gtfo faggot

What is with these butthurt fuckers who are posting that it isn't real. I doubt your 'superior' logic and reasoning is more valid than scientific studies of people who actually know what they are talking about.
>>
>>692288320
Ive always been a sleep screamer, some brains are def more capable of lucidity than others

i dont get the rubber band part, and what it has to do with lucid dreaming, but i mean it seems like you know what you're talking about so ok. i guess Imma start fucking cutting myself for the sake of raping my crush in dream
>>
>>692288686
Because it's just not real..... anyone with a brain in their head knows that fantasy shit isn't real. Still believe in santa too fag boy?

>>692288743
It's not real. The only butthurt ones here are you.
>>
>>692289145
Well then what is your reasoning for it not existing?
>>
>>692281761
Funny I have similar experiences yet can be completely aware and lucid without pulling myself out of the dream. I guess it comes down to teaching yourself techniques to stave off outer thought or maybe looking at your hands and using commands to stabilize the dream. Sometimes it can't be helped though...
>>
>>692288884
So close
>>692288888
>>
>>692289145
see now, there are many facts behind it that are saying that lucid dreaming is real. however on the other hand, just the fact that some gay faggot on 4chan is saying 'aww mate its fake', and keep spamming it like a twelvie, doesnt make me change my mind.
>>
>>692288823
Its all one butthurt crybaby sad he cant dream, dont be fooled

literally just a sad troll with a brain only capable of the most basic functions
>>
>>692288867
Yes! I experienced that too. Also night terrors and paralysis. I think there's definitely an affinity to lucid dreaming for anyone who's brain is still too active while they sleep.
>>
>>692268770
>ive flown quite a few times
I always used to do this. But I haven't wanted to in a while.
Doesn't everyone? I'm not getting this Lucid Dreaming.
It seems like normal shit for me.

>>
>>692289280

>>
>>692289003
the rubberband is a cue
for poorfags who cant afford a watch
the "snap" feeling of the brand is hard for a dream to emulate, you'll notice it doesnt feel right

The cue I used was just asking myself "Am I dreaming right now?" constantly throughout the day. Dreams emulate real life. Repeat it enough to become a habit and you'll start asking yourself in your sleep.

And when you ask yourself "Am I dreaming right now?" in a dream you usually realize yes, I am
>>
>>692289321
that's cool. keep believing it's real. Bet you still write letters to santa.
>>
>>692289833

Why? I have several times and nothing bad happened. And I was remembered about "don't look into the mirror" warning while lucid dreaming. All I saw was myself. I was pretty clear amazingly, if glitchy. My movements on the mirror followed me quite well, surprisingly.
>>
>>692289112
Oh, ok I see. So you're just a retard then.
Unless you're saying that dreams aren't real, in which case, duh.

>Hurr durr it doesn't exist i dont care if u had one u lying it aint real

just because you failed to do it, doesn't mean it isn't real.

Another technique to prime yourself for lucid dreams is to ask yourself
"Will I lucid dream tonight?" a bunch while falling asleep
NOT "I will lucid dream tonight."
Must be a question

When subliminal messaging was being researched scientists found that the subconcious was much more sensitive to questions than statements

"Drink coca-cola" is much less effective than "Thirsty for a coca-cola?"

I've been doing it since I'm a kid. I had nightmare dreams for years and have my worked painfully up there so I can get out of them. Today I can lucid dream perfectly. It's the easiest in the morning though, especially when I went up already (for peeing) and go back to sleep. But basically whenever I have an intense dream I have to control, then I can get to do it. It's a slow way and it takes quite some time, but since you are sleeping anyway, I'd definitely recommend trying it. Most important thing is not to let go whenever you are close, it won't work at the beginning, just keep going.
>>
>>692291977
no. taking an obvious bait and defending the fact that lucid dreaming is real from said obvious bait like it means the world to you makes you a retard. but you can spin it whichever way makes you feel better.

I wanted to be able to experience flying in my dreams after a friend told me about his lucid experience. For a a while after i was able to alter the course of my dreams to involve flying but i was never able to achieve real powered flight. I managed to somewhat glide but the best i could acomplish most of the time was to kind of float breifly by catching gusts of wind with my body.

Your wife will be doomed by the one who shall not be mentioned, she will give birth to the new ruler of the world and the only one that can prevent this is you. You can not prevent this by not having a wife, since she is chosen by Satan himself already. But you must develop your skills before she gives birth or humanity will be fucked. You have a long and dangerous journey ahead anon, choose your next steps wisely.

>>692292968
Oh the irony
>>
>>692291854
>>692291968

I'll elaborate and hopefully it'll explain all this

The "dream tests", aka "cues" or "keys", happen subconsciously and spontaneously in the course of normal dreaming. Your "cue" may be checking your watch, snapping your rubberband, or just asking yourself, "am I dreaming?" as a stray thought

you get these to start happenening in your dreams by forming a deeply-entrenched habit in your mind. The kind of habit that you just do automatically even without consciously thinking about doing it

your dreams are primarily based on your everday life. If you practice your cue constantly when awake, it'll just start happening automatically in dreams

No, you dont wear the watch to bed. You probably wont dream yourself lying in bed as you are.

You'll dream yourself dressed and doing things, and if you wear the watch every day when awake you'll be wearing it in your dream. Your dream self is based on your stable self-image, not on what you wore to bed that night
