As bane? It's not a bad item. It depends on if you're the pos 4 or pos 5 support. I don't play a whole lot of supporting, but I think a good bane build would be arcanes into force staff into glimmer cape, buying wards and smoke whenever needed. Aether is fine for the added range, but I think having more mobility and team items is better
