Still, as I told, there is imo ( but i'm not an expert, ) a clear relation to childhood, or naivity being destroyed in these cartoons. Could have various personal significations. If you're a young adult, it may be simply that you don't feel at ease for now in the adult world, and you somehow wich to return in those child/teenage years, and the fluffies being thrown out of their " flowers, huggies " world to brutality may be an image of your own enter into the adult world. Or, it can be the contrary, the hate for those childhood years, but as you said, you had an happy childhood so I don't think it's that.
Anyway, try to think on it but don't over-dramatise if you don't find, as long as it's not a total obsession it isn't something you should worry about.
