I would advise against buying a boutique AR as your first rifle, especially at a $1500 price tag. I built my rifle from a stripped lower. I've spent about 1200-1300 so far. But it's my nice AR. My first one cost 500 bucks. It works just as good as my special snowflake AR.
You should consider a cheaper entry level si you can buy magazines and ammo, targets, lubricant( AR's need to run wet), a cleaning rod/kit, a case, sling, optics if you choose. Then more magazines, and ammo ammo ammo.
Plus you don't have to wait for shipping this way, of it comes blemished, you don't have to worry about returning it, etc...

I work at a range and I have a few suggestions OP, first being, don't buy that AR, it's decked out with cheap ass tacticool gear that looks swanky but in reality, is crap. Suggestion two, consider building your own from a stripped or complete lower, it's not very difficult and with 1500 you could build a much higher nicer rifle than the one you posted. Finally, if you're not comfortable with the idea of building your own, try to buy a complete one from a local gun store so you don't have to have it transferred, while the transfer fee may not be much depending on what FFL you go through you'll most likely save a few dollars.

Here's the deal: the terror watch list is unconstitutional as fuck. You're supposed to be given due process and the right to a trial and appeals process if you're accused of a major crime like that. The terror watch list is made in secret and you're never notified if you're on it. .gov can put you on for any reason they want.
From an Intel perspective that makes sense. You don't wanna let a potential terrorist know you're on to them, you want to keep catching them doing stuff and letting them lead you to more people in their network. You don't drop the hammer until you decide it's no longer worthwhile to remain hidden.
But that also creates enormous issues for our civil rights, because, again, the 5th Amendment makes all of that shit illegal as fuck.

Call your town clerk and ask about storage laws in your home. Do it right.
