Of course, boxing is fairly restrictive in what you can do so size gives a bigger advantage in it since it's a bit easier to be equal in other things. There is still things like reach, stamina and resilience that have a part to play but yeah, in my experience weight gives a big advantage.
Also, big guys are usually more resilient to head punches thanks to bigger neck muscles (a head knockout is generated by rapid, sudden movement of the head) but are often less resilient to punches to the torso (mostly liver and pancreas) thanks to larger intestines.

Honestly took me about 7 years to get to this point, and only 4 years of hardcore training. I was about 185 in high school but buffed up even more later. Steroids aren't a must, but can help. And don't ever do the "juice up" ones. Do the more natural ones that once again are more of a supplement than a replacement. I worked really, really hard to get to this point and unless you have 5+ hours a day to dedicate to lifting and working out, you wouldn't get to this point but you would probably end up really lean and fit and nothing is wrong with that at all.
