The creator, Rebecca sugar, is heavily influenced by certain anime, such as revolutionary girl utena, NGE, dragon ball and a few others. Also, one of the story board artist is a self proclaimed ex-neet. So, people joke a lot that SU is anime. Really weird.
Personally prefer Mirai Nikki, the twist at the ending episodes really define the story.

Kill La Kill is one of the only animes (along with Space Dandy) I found to be genuinely funny. Though it does take it's satirical story a little bit seriously towards the end it never strays too far away from the humor. Give it a try if you haven't seen it

Cowboy bebop managed to do what most others couldnt. It was a jack of all trades. It made you laugh. It made you get them feels. It had horror. It had happy moments. Each character had a genuinely intriguing background that was believable. The musical element was totally unique and served the scenes. The technology was sophisticated yet not overdone. The colors in the art gave it a soft real feeling vibe. The ending left you shocked and wanting more. Best of all it avoided a great deal of animes weak points such as: bad voice acting, cringe worthy awkward ass moments, cryptic ass hints that end up leading to nothing, FUCKING FILLER EPISODES, pointless dialogue that takes too long and doesnt explain anything, and the biggest anime sin........hundreds upon hundreds of episodes that ultimately steer the show away from its actual storyline and turns it into an empty shell of itself. It fucking destroys most modrn day anime with its limited 26 episode run and its old as fuck. I have never found anything sonce that comes even close. Bang....

I do admit when I watch it now it seems a bit cliche. But when it came out it pushed the bar up really high. Naruto is a gateway anime of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.
However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable underageb& faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world.
