I don't do much intricate carving like that and I use power tools as much as possible. I kek hardcore when I am talking to somebody that watching youtube channels of timber framing where they use augers and shit. It's a very pervasive attitude about it thought that everything is done by hand and I'm thankful for it actually because it means people will pay a shit ton for it and most wood workers are afraid of it.
