I've had minor hallucinations, where I've seen flashes or light or heard people call my name or shout something, but it only really effects me when I'm trying to go to sleep in a silent dark room. I have had delusions before, though. I've thought that I had the ability to bargain with some higher power, that I could, for example, either ace a job interview or get with a girl I'd liked. Those ones always fucked me up, because I had hope that one of those things would happen, and then neither of them did. I've believed that if I check my messages too often, people won't respond, or that if I don't check them for a while, people will send me exactly the message I wish they would (confessions of love etc.). I was scared shitless around 2012 and the end of the world bullshit, and thought that terrorists were going to nuke London during the Olympics. I've also thought that I could have telepathic conversations with other people, or that others could read my thoughts like in 1984, and find out my deepest secrets if I keep on thinking about them.
Honestly, I don't know what to do. I've never really been concerned about this until now, and haven't told anyone. What should I do? Does it seem likely that I have some other sort of mental illness? Will I have to go on more meds?
