The reason is improvement. And it's far more than I can say, I just lifted for 2 months then quit. It wasn't without its reasons, but I still wish I didn't. Anyone that devotes time to lifting and improving themself deserves praise and encouragement. It's why everyone on /fit/ is generally pretty nice to each other, and very encouraging.
