Pretty sure it exists seeing as both my nan and i technically do have it.
She's manipulative as fuck and has completely destroyed my family multiple times but she's completely unable to ever be happy and has tried to kill herself multiple times. I on the other hand am very aware of the fact that i could potentially be the same so i keep myself away from people but the depression, anger and identity issues that come with it are really bad sometimes and because of it i've been sectioned in a mental hospital before. I'm sure that some people with it are bound to excuse themselves from their behavior but people do that with every disorder these days. The only problem with some people with bpd is that they never even realise that they're the problem because they project all of their problems onto everyone else. Should look up marsha linehan as i think she explains it better than most also they do have some evidence that shows that the brain of someone with bpd is different to a normal one, the part of the brain that controls emotions is hyperactive in those with bpd.

Quetiapine is seroquel - which is what I am on. But I have titrated down now to 75mg. At 400 I was a zombie, but that was better than being a maniac, but my doc and I have agreed to lower the dose - and over a year and half got down to 50, but then i started to go high agin - back up to 150, leveled and reduced to 125, 100, 75 ok... 50 - went high. so now I stay on 75 and on bad days top up to 100 or 125. these are really low doses, supposedly sub clinical, but they work - there is research being done on this, low dose maintenance. works for me.

I have had ADHD for my 31 years on this planet and it does exist. it's so hard not to listen or hear EVERYTHING around me it's like the worst super power ever. i'll tell you when you hit a point where your focus just DIES. you are trying so fucking hard to keep doing your work, but it's like your brain is SCREAMING at you to think or do something else. it gets to the point where if feels like a bad drug trip or realizing your way to drunk to drive. my son has it, and one day trying to get him to finish the last question on his paper he was just at a stand still. i kept pushing him to finish it, and he just started sobbing. tears hitting his paper. he's not a pussy. he's a tough kid. it took me back to the same feeling when i was his age, and it was heartbreaking. i took a walk with him and talk ed him down for 30 mins and it gave his brain enough time to cool off. we went back in, and he wrote down the answer. this was after 4 pages of homework math and reading. it was the last answer, but when the road block hits you it's crippling. it's a headache inducing fight with your own brain that no one with out it can comprehend.
