Got my first electric (a real cheap piece of shit) at 16 as a birthday present. Genuinely intended to learn. Got down the basics and a couple of songs.
Bought an Epiphone SG when I saw it in a pawnshop for £75 (couldn't pass it up at that price). Again fully intended to practice. College got in the way.
Went off to uni, working full time right out of the gate afterwards. No time at all.
Got the other 3 in a trade. Guy was leaving the country and wanted rid of them, but also needed a place to stay. Let him crash on my couch for two months in exchange for some kind of Jackson electric, a Fender acoustic and a Gretsch acoustic.
I pick one up every now and then and have a tinker but I can't seem to stick with a routine to get any good.

My solution to all issues related to trems was to buy that FGN. Now I can change tunings quickly and have no more problems with changing strings.
Seriously though, it's not that slow or difficult after a couple of times and this model also doesn't require you to cut the ball ends. Still annoying enough to warrant the purchase of another guitar. I got that guitar because of the piezo.
