However I can never seem to communicate as effectively over the internet. Perhaps I rely too heavily on enunciation and my tendency to talk fast.

I think that's a bit too fast. The fact of the matter is that it's possible to recognize and acknowledge real demonstrable flaws in the basic thought processes and values of most people. Do I think I could prescribe a detailed political/economic structure that might work best for humanity in the long and short term? No, and I wouldn't presume to suggest one. But that doesn't mean that I can't say that things would be a lot better if people didn't adopt values motivating unjustified harm to others, or weren't lazy ideologues, or weren't aggressively ignorant.
