Alright newfag, listen up. Nobody else on this website is smart enough to give you correct information so I'm going to do it for you.

Alright anon, there you go. You are now completely anonymous on Tor. Don't do anything illegal,
and don't log in to any accounts or enter any information that could potentially identify you.
People use those servers for illegal activities all the time and you don't want to be lumped with that group if you aren't doing anything wrong.
Have fun and be safe.

>>
>>686299008
This

+ mostly people use tor for stuff that LEA wouldn't come after them for anyway. Ordering drugs for example isn't high on the list. All they could do you is fine you IF you admit ordering it anyway. And the amount of people buying drugs is so massive, that they have no chance in hell dealing with that volume.

>Do you honestly believe that organizations like the FBI and NSA with massive amounts of resources at their disposal haven't implemented this?
I suppose they could do it. But if they have done it, then your average user still doesn't have to worry, because they wouldn't expose the whole thing by going after targets not essential to "national-security". Tor is mainly used for purchasing drugs these days, and still remains a good tool for it.

They don't have to expose shit. After they make the arrest the authorities can just say the guy was sloppy. They tend to only go after the dealers, but unlucky customers can get caught up in the arrest too.

They have to prove you were the one who ordered the drugs, and even if they cracked Tor and see you entering a website with it, it is not enough for a conviction if you use even the slightest of security measures for your purchase, like gpg and untraceable transactions. Entering a marketplace isn't illegal in itself.

We get this thread about once a month and it always makes me sick to my ass. The comments usually break down into the following categories.

1. "Oh my god, TOR is a huge honeypot. The police control every exit node, and everybody who even thinks about using it is on some gigantic list of people whose houses they're going to storm and shoot everyone inside. You are such a cringe-tier summer newfag for even considering using it."

2. "I have all the secret information about tor, but I won't tell you what it is. In fact, I know more than even people who use tor, but I won't reveal any of this knowledge because I wouldn't want to make myself vulnerable. This is secret shitpost code for I don't actually know anything."

3. Real responses from people who actually use it.

Here's the truth do your research and make your own conclusions. The reality is that, unless you're sending death threats to the president or engaging in terrorist activity, hosting a child porn site or becoming a regular on one, the police aren't going to be kicking down your door any time soon. The major busts worth talking about are Silk Road and that one CP site (I don't remember what it was called but it was in the newspaper). Even so, the casual / low level browsers of these sites only got caught up because of their complete inability to use tor safely or understand basic OPSEC / INFOSEC.

Take notes on it for a week or two, don't be a fucking idiot, and you'll be alright.

Charge your fucking phone you dickhead.

Anon's original point was that it isn't possible for the authorities to spy on tor users. That is incorrect.

Your point now, that authorities won't bother pursuing small-time criminals, is obvious.

I don't have a list of websites you "shouldn't" go to, but TOR is pretty mainstream and you've got to realize that it's not illegal to use. If you're that much of a pussy, you shouldn't be using it because you're going to see something on it that keeps you up at night.

I mean, you're talking about a technology that was featured in WIRED magazine (which, by the way, the author encouraged people to use TOR). It's not exactly the secret internet it used to be when it first came out. The only people who are afraid of it are people who don't know how to internet.

Just get on a search engine like TORch and look up what you want. Don't be stupid.

This board has become such a fucking tinfoil puss-fest anymore. You guys are constantly crying that everything is a honeypot and shivering under the shadow of this perceived Big Brother. I don't think you even know what that word means anymore. All of these anonymous services can be easily accessed with virtually complete anonymity in less than 20 minutes.

Even if you directly connected to any of them, the amount of time, effort, energy, manpower, and (most importantly) money it would take to track people down and successfully prosecute them (when there's no guarantee there will even be evidence present by the time a warrant is written, authorized, signed, and executed) wouldn't even make it at all worth it.

Seriously, if you're too much of a paranoid pussy to access a fucking website, just admit it to yourself and the rest of the world. Don't go around spreading misinformation and mongering fear about something you clearly don't understand.

Like saying that using tor is 100% safe? Your argument that law enforcement is unlikely to waste resources on small-time criminals is valid. But claiming that tor protects people from prosecution is stupid and irresponsible.
>>
>>686304994

>Like saying that using tor is 100% safe?
>But claiming that tor protects people from prosecution is stupid and irresponsible.

I never claimed either of these. In point of fact, TOR's website specifically says that opening an exit node is something you do at your own risk.

Again, this website is full of misinformation and retards.
>>
>>686293290
problem is you need to install on a usb then boot it up if you want an encrypted partition to store files, which of course you do.

>>
>>686307675
any links or pads?
>>
>>686307937
>What do you do with your address? Where does it get delivered to? New fag here.
You can use your real address without much worry. You send your info to the vendor using a gpg encryption. That way no outsider can access the info and it will be impossible to prove that you placed the order, unless the vendor is a retard. For that reason, read through reviews and look at how long the vendor has been at it. There are many good, trustworthy vendors out there.

Ofcourse you can use an alternate address aswell. Like some abandoned house, neighbour (check the mail always before he/she can) etc.
>>
>>686308297
Thanks, appreciate it. Still, freaks me out the idea of giving drug dealers your address.

Maybe I watch too much TV.

If the dealers didn't get me, I'm sure my wife would when she found out what I'd done! Thanks again.
>>
>>686308297
>That way no outsider can access the info and it will be impossible to prove that you placed the order
Until that particular dealer gets busted and law enforcement sifts through his records. If he's smart, he didn't keep any records. But how can you be sure?
>>
>>686305555
NO ONE CHECKED THESE QUADS
>>
>>686308650
>But how can you be sure?
Well, you can't. Many do say that they do not keep records, and I don't see any reason they would lie in most cases. But even still in most countries, your address in a vendors records doesn't prove anything either. Cops just might show up with a warrant and go through your shit, but unless you admit, they still can't do anything if they don't find shit from your house. Atleast here where I live, ordering and admitting to it is only a small fine anyway, if the quantity is less than 1kg for "mild" drugs like weed and less than 100grams for the harder stuff.
>>
>>686308297
>You send your info to the vendor using a gpg encryption.
The important part here is the gpg key exchange. If you do that online too then all bets are off.
>>
>>686307675

>>686309923
