Hate takes down skyscrapers. Hate stones raped women to death. Hate trains 9 year old children to blow up open markets. Hate does a lot of bad things.
So, how do we live and let live when the stated doctrine of Islam is to to conquer and in-slave all non-muslims? How do you live and let live when muslims actively seek to overturn secular law and abolish basic human rights. When is surrendering the Western philosophy of democracy and human rights acceptable in order to "live and let live"?
