Been growing 10 years strong... Dont use cfls HID lighting is the only way to go.. T5s for veg/cloning is fine but in the end you want to be veging with MH and blooming with a mix of HPS and MH. Dont bullshit with costly LEDs and dont buy into that hype its the meme grow light and anyone that tells you its better doesnt know what the fuck they are doing... Use coco as a grow media its very forgiving if you fuck up and easy to get good results. Fabric pots are your friend but keep them off the ground and air flowing on all sides. Roots need air dont fuck with plastic buckets that starve your root zone for air. Keep it simple when u are starting get indica seeds and learn to top and shape to use the space you have the best. Dont bullshit with cheap gear that can start fires... Save up and gather what you need build your grow room then put plants in it. If you are in a med state check craigslist for grow equipment but dont buy sketchy looking shit.

I used to use 5cfl lights, in a room that was 2ft wide x 2ft long 6 ft high. Using standard compost with canna terra, canna vega and their boosters. I got nice sized dense buds. The lights are cheap and energy saving so cost next to nothing to burn 24 hours if you need to. Grows depended on growth time I aimed for 1.5ft tall then put them into 12/12 to get those buds started. I would end up with a 3ft high plant which is top twice getting 4 main kolas. Used to get between 1- 2.5 oz per plant depending on seed type. Using berry, big and cluster bomb helped max my yield and would throw in an blue missy and afghan kush or some other random combo lol

You can use a male, or youcan buy a spray called colloidal silver, isolate one branch of your female plant, spray it, wait till it grow balls, cut the branch off, collect little balls(they are filled with pollen) then use that pollen to pollinate a bud or 2 on your plant with a q-tip, it will make seeds that produce only female plants because both "parents" of the seed are female, they are called feminized seeds
Or you can keep one female plant in vegetation(meaning not flowering, meaning not on 12-12 hours light) and wait till ot grow branches, cut a few branches off and put them in soil to make roots, and you will successfully create a few smaller plants with your big plant. This is called cloning, you can keep a mother plant in vegetation for as long as you want and use her over and over again to make new plants

I use Miracle Gro potting soil with the veggie/tomato fertilizers to start, then more tomato fertilizer just like in that guide. I have a bank of 16 CFL bulbs putting out about 13-18w each rigged to a pulley system to raise and lower the light bank as the plant grows.
I have about 3 square feet to grow in my closet and about 5 feet vertical and I lined the whole thing with tin foil for reflectivity.
I water them 2x daily with r/o filtered water + fertilizers, basically until water seeps out the bottom of the 1 gallon planter pots they're in. I use an air filter with carbon filters to circulate the air and reduce the smell.
I get about 6-8 ounces per plant, and grow them 2 at a time. Takes about 6 months start to finish.

The plant hhas a normal life cycle from sprint through the end of summer, then it dies off. You start with longer days early in plant's lifecycle to "simulate" summer (an awful lot like this thread) and then you shorten the days to trigger the plant to flower because the plant will think it's turning to Autumn and time to flower, pollinate and breed, drop seeds and die so the seeds can repeat the process next Spring. You don't want to pollinate though, you just want the mature flowers.

Steep it in coconut oil (1 cup) and water (2 cups) on really low heat on the stove so the oil gets infused with THC. Keep it under 200F, no boiling just small bubbles, for like an hour. Strain out the weed from the water and oil into a big bowl, and put the bowl of liquid in the fridge. The water and oil will separate, the oil will harden overnight. Drain the water, keep the solid chunk of oil and use it for baking or melt it in hot chocolate or just eat it if you want.

No, this is just from seed. Clones are a different set of calculations. They only need to put out roots before you switch to flowering because it's already a mature plant from the start. You might also have a faster strain.

Get a bigger pot and fill it with dirt. Dig a hole in the middle the size of the patch of dirt in the cup. Carefully scoop the plant and dirt out of the cup and into the hole. Add more dirt on top and give it some water and light. Should be fine.
