personally i do spiro/estradiol/progesterone start your doses off real low like 50mg/2mg/0mg until you know how your body's going to respond. look up the health risks ex: progesterone can give you benign brain tumors, all hrt gives you an increased blood clot risk, quit smoking if you do that etc.
really should see a doctor though unless you live in a shithole without informed consent. even if you don't feel like you need to, the meds are a LOT cheaper with a script.

yep you can also just go to your GP and get bloodwork done for a variety of other reasons. mine was being monitored at the time i began transitioning anyways. if you're in the states just sign up for obamacare. some pharmacies even fill spiro rx's for free if you shop around.
