>>684831942
>while at work
You have a job. That's the key; that's what's important. Granted, no one would be willing to pay you $90K+ a year to write reports about...women (or w/e), but you still have a job, a way to pay back those loans, and still a functioning, contributing member of society. It is what it is.
As much as I love Astronomy, I didn't major in it because it doesn't really have any money in it either, unless you like...discover a new star or something. I mean, people seem to be more concerned with famous celebrities and athletes than they are with scientists anyway.
explain to me how psychology is shit tier.

Better get back to work before MR. Sheklestein catches you and forces you to work overtime over the weekend
I'm studying for a 2 year degree (AAS) in Mechatronics right now. It combines elements of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, fluid power, and controls engineering, among other things. My education is completely paid for (and then some) by VA benefits (dad was honorably discharged from the army as a Captain), the GI Bill, and CEP. I'm pretty excited for next semester, since we'll start going more deeply into hydraulics, robotics, and PLC programming.

Are you fucking serious? That's the most shitty, generic degree possible. Everyone in India and China has a computer engineering degree and use them as toilet paper.
>>684835351
I think its because they're quite broad and analytical, 'transferable skills' is a term they toss around a lot. Although I doubt you'll see many biologists doing anything other than gardening

>>684828295
Good things about EE: everyone else assumes I'm a genius. Two job offers and a handful of scholarships for good grades. Pretty good at math, now
Bad things: Everything else.
Started in aerospace engineering in college. Didn't like it too much, so ended up jumping between majors my junior year (comp engi, mech engi, physics). Ended up switching over to planetary science/ geophysics as didn't want to end up working for a defense contractor when I got out of college.
Now work for a company that works with oceanographic data/systems and do surveying type work. Considering leaving for an civil engineering job for higher pay

Because there ISN'T currently a glut of lawyers, and admission standards haven't plummeted, and bar passage rates aren't down.
I had the good fortune to graduate right in the middle of the legal industry meltdown froma top 25 school. About half the people I graduated with aren't working as lawyers, four years later.

Nothing about that graphic is accurate.
You think the SJW brainwashed humanities aren't full of cucks and bronies who think that nonsense makes them enlightened? Are you on drugs?
Magic: The Gathering, Skyrim, and D&D, sure.
You can say what you like about scientists and engineers, but most of them are smart enough to look at bullshit and say, "that's bullshit." I've met a lot of nerds in engineering, but not a single bronie so far.
>>684831209
engineer - so so correct!
For all those complaining about women's studies please see the message at the bottom of the image you are welcome and have been BTFO

Women's studies great course
Secondary Education with a focus in social studies. Suprised it's shit tier, seeing how all the baby boomers are retiring there's a even bigger job market for teaching, although the pay isn't the greatest it get's pretty decent whenever you obtain a rank one or higher. Not to mention the work schedule is pretty great.
Not the greatest, but wouldn't consider it shit tier.
>>684828295
