How much is on your bank account right now?
Be really honest /b/
Here's mine: €3566,72
about 1800$ in the bank and 1500$ in cash
I have like just under a grand. I got paid on Thursday, paid some bills, bought some weed and a new rig.
>pic relate; my shatter smoking rig
Not for free healthcare!
America is fucked in that regard.
I pay my taxes, and then have to pay an extra 30% of my monthly income for medical insurance that only covers a portion of the medical bills when something goes wrong.
If I get sick, I can't go to the doctor because the co-pay just to be seen is too high.
If it's bad enough that I do go to get medical attention, then it's still going to cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars that I don't have. And that's after my ok-but-not-great insurance covers their part. Insurance that I have to have by law or I will get penalized come tax season
>you've got to borrow.
>You don't seem to understand that not everyone gets things handed to them for nothing like you
depending the country, here in germany the social-laws give every human the right of medical treatment, there are things you have to pay for yourself, but the basics will always be paid for, that counts for those paying taxes same as those who are out of jobs (kalled hartzer)
Are you people full of shit or have I not been in the right world these past 23 years?
>Max money I ever had that was mine was 1200e
>had to spend 450 on the rent the same day
>bought a guitar for 350e
>400e left till end of month
still living as a student and I work 4-5 days a week to support myself
Been living like that for 8 years now, all on my own.
3500e just like.. now? Some othet people have over 30k if they aren't bullshitting?
And I have... around 19e until the 20th of May.
Funny thing is... I live in norway
This should be common knowlage but your tax pays for the national debt which your country borrows every year from a private banking institution
Watch this to learn something https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGk5ioEXlIM
Greek fag here, I have 1 property, but I'm poor as fuck. I work my fucking ass off
Hell I'm so damn poor, I work all day everyday, then work all night as well. I don't recommend this lifestyle.
Shit, if you knew my parents, you'd understand why I left when I was 15
Not really my own place, that's like a couple of million in Norwegian KR (min 300.000$ for a house).
I rent for now, but when I'm done with the fucking studies I'll probably save up for a fortress because living like this is exhausting both physically and psychologically
I still can't afford a house where I live. fuck this world.
More or less than 200 euros right now in bank acc.
Way over 10k? in misc "items" and valuable documents and collectibles stored around the house that'll maybe sell one day if needed.
Owner of many houses and lands.
Saving is something I'd really like to do automatically but I always end up buying stuff (may it be useless like expensive clothing or useful like for example travelling)
both, i've been working a janitor job since i was 18 and saved basically every cheque that i got mostly for schooling, i'm almost done schooling for heavy duty mechanic and i got 20 grand from my grandpa when he died witch i put in my savings for a house when i get a heavy duty mechanic job.
I also had money being saved from odd end jobs i did when i was below 18.
Dip shit, this goes for all countries.
There is 2 countries that do not get their money from the private banks (which btw are all owned by the same people). The link to the video explains how the banking system works for every country.
Here is more food for thought https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbp6umQT58A
I don't feel like a millionaire, I live in a normal house, drive a normal car, own a normal dog, study, work weekends.
I did not earn that money, I did not work for it I just got it. and I'm planning to do something good with it.
I am not financially incapable but I like to dress like a dirtbag and use simple, cheap and comfortable clothing as opposed to good brand clothing. If it is expensive I am sure as hell I wont ever buy it. I also send clothes to repair instead of buying new ones.
It fells natural to me, I dont see me as a fancy guy. And... using expensive clothing would just attract the wrong kind of people in life. Whoever values materials more than anything or fancy clothing, cars and stuff doesn't seem the kind of person I'd like to meet and be friends with
Being unemployed is suffering lads.
Mate just grind for a whole year and try to get on property market or something... That's my plan. I have lost pretty much all friends and no gf but have started training and eating clean. Gl though
168.000€ together with my wife. We have one kid and put around 2.500€ asside every month. I don't understand you people are complaining all the time. Stop having a hole in your hand and start working. It isn't hard to save money at all.
that's lucky, that you've found a social niche that doesn't care about appearence.
>cheap and comfortable clothing
that's the problem, cheap clothes around here always have horrible, uncomfortable cuts and flimsy fabric. three times in the wash, it's basically ruined. not a wise investment, rather a rip-off scheme on the poor.
$121 in the ol' checking account. I don't keep much in there on the off chance my student loan borrowers feel like freezing my account -- which they can do at any time really and without a court order.
I've got $3,700 in a lock box, and I'll be getting paid another $1,000 or so this week...
I guess I'm doing all right.
How old are you people with that much money?
>tfw and never had more than 1k euros
>tfw student life
like, 350 euros? Still an apprentice... so monthly income is 530+350 from parents... it pays the bills and keeps me fed. Life is still cool.
i earn 2100 plus company car and my wife around 1800. We're both in our mid twenties and earn above the average for belgium for our age. But hey, i don't go around throwing my money through windows.
Then i would advise you to finde a girlfriend. Ok people say they cost a lot of money. But that's not true. If you're both mature enough. Then you'll work toward a future together. Also you don't suffer from loneliness anymore
ik zoek werk iemand een idee. looking for a easy way to make money anyone ideas?
i'm relatively good looking, but immensely shy.
which means i only get dumb whores interested in me, who want nothing more than a fling (which i don't do) and girls who are also too shy to communicate their interest.
relationships are weird for me.
but congrats on your setup.
Why are you shy? There shouldn't be a reason for that. If you're relatively good looking as you say, things will eventually turn out right for you. Just talk to woman, they're just people remember everyone has it's own problems and that 10/10 might be out of reach. But you'll never know if you don't talk to them. This is something you can practice. It's not like you have the looks of a garbage truck. Just go outside with friends, and things will work out fine eventually, but you need to talk.
If they are jailed in private prisons then that is not part of the government therefore tax money doenst pay for it. Private prison means it is funded by private investers faggot
It's easy to convert, you've got to think of the : as a double comma whenever there's more than 7 numbers and the ' is like a decimal point depending upon where the : falls in the number. And we omit final zeros. So...
341:561'24 = 3,415,612.4(0)
5886:241'37 = 5,886,241.37
Then you still have to convert the karaflops to USE, CAD or whatever
>341:561'24 = 3,415,612.4(0)
>5886:241'37 = 5,886,241.37
i'm sorry, m8, that makes no sense at all.
also, all i think of when i hear "karaflop" is something something floating point operations.
I had the same problem. But i had an epiphany, you just need to realise that it doesn't affect your life to be rejected by a woman, or 10 or 100. You just need that 1 person, but it's not going to be served on a silver dish.
like $9,800 in cash, $2,000 in CC debt and $638,000 in liquid assets
houses and property are a huge waste. why are you paying 3.05% to borrow for property when you can pay 1.87% to borrow for stocks? https://www interactivebrokers com/en/index.php?f=interest&p=schedule2
buy bitcoins now, wait a couple of months, the value appreciates, the value of your investment has grown, liquify, voila you made money
only important things to look at are the rate of return
and ask yourself will you make more investing in the stock market or just buying currency.
Value of currency changes over time, so buy low sell high. And don't be a retard who sells it too quick even if you think the price is falling, begin by picking the right stocks and you know for sure the price will go back up... its only a question of when. Also don't put all your eggs in one basket and don't buy penny stock if you don't have legit insider info
>not being able to handle a difficult situation for a couple of years so you can make the rest of your life better.
I saved almost $30,000 living with my parents for 2 years. Did I enjoy it, fuck no. But it allowed me to be able to put 20% down on a decent house. Now I have my own house. Imagine that..
property investment is a tough ball
you need more capital to begin
you could take a loan and used what you have as down payment but its a shot in the foot if you don't have a steady income
also pundicts are saying that property market is like a bubble waiting to burst.
So, if you play property buy when there's foreclosures, that means pick them up from bank auctions
>mfw the probable reason private prisons exist is because a lot of voters are dumb enough to assume this
Best friend right now.
$44.31 in the bank
Norwegianfag here, i used to be rich but got caugh with THC in my blood behind the wheel. 2 monthly pays. aka 6000dollars.
At the moment i have 10 kroners (1,22 $) on my spending account :/
Own 2,100 sqft house
Car is paid for
$24,000 in checking
Just became eligible for 401k at work so started that last week.
I'very never made much but I'm smart with my money. Lower middle class is ok for me atm.
Except thrifted clothes aren't actually that low quality, and honestly beggars can't be choosers anyways. Youre poor as fuck. Just go to a GoodWill, it'll surprise you what you can find for under 10 bucks.
yeah you-'re right. Even if you dont have/earn much, you're way wealthier than you think if you dont have any debt. Most people have debts in western societies, so even if they earn a lot, with the debt it doesnt mean much. Debt is like a chain around your neck. I dont have much (11,000 Euros checking and 17,000 savings) but i have no debts at all. Zero.
Around 1100€. 21y/o and graduating.
Only downside with having money is Finnish welfare system won't give me any money unless I spend it.
650€ of my monthly rent/utilities will be paid by it, also I will be getting more money. Unless I find a job which I would prefer
Primary checking: $1942.36
Reserve checking: $0.01
Joint checking: $446.23
Business checking: $10,382.15
Outstanding mortgage: $157,000-ish
Outstanding revolving credit: $13,000-ish
Value of assets (excluding home): $35,000-ish
Value of home: $210,000-ish
All of this will soon be irrelevant anyway. The way society is heading (at least in europe) is that we will all soon have a 'universal salary' meaning that we will all get like, 1,800 euros from the government for free, whether we work or not, as a right. They are already testing this system in switzerland, and parts of Belgium and Holland. This is the future. Its because in the future there just wont be any jobs as technology and 'AI' simulators start replacing real people at white collar jobs (for example: it was possible to be a taxi driver untill uber came along and fucked the whole taxi driving industry. Now all u can do is work for Uber as a lowly paid Über driver. But what do we think is going to happen when self driving cars come along? Then it wont even be possible to have a shit paid Über job as as the company wont need human drivers any longer. This will be replicated in all other industries too. The finance industry is already using more and more super computers to make buys on the stock markets instead of traders. there are some hedge funds where all they have are just IT maintenance people for the servers.) so, at the end of the day, Who cares anymore about any of this?
just started a new job...economy is really bad right now in my area so i only have like 200 CDN to my name right now...but i did pay off all my bills so atleast im sweet on that end...just gotta wait till my first paychecks roll in then i can start banking some money...times are rough but im surviving!
347,000 SEK, which is roughly $42,000.
Graduating university in 3 weeks hopefully, so I'll probably end up using the money to take a loan to buy an apartment if I can't find a rental one.
Would be better finding a rental one and wait until the housing market crashes and be able to pick up an apartment real cheap and make some money off of that.
Investment account $3,981.98
I also have a small amount in stocks and about $1300 in silver.
Just booked a trip to Europe so It's not as much as I had :(
its an experimental phase, only in small towns or villages for the moment. Its still at the phase where they are testing to see how to roll it out nation-wide. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/dec/26/dutch-city-utrecht-basic-income-uk-greens
It's not me. I never claimed it was. And usually people don't make that connection when posting pictures on 4chan.
Well I feel like a poor bitch.
-4000 bank account
-7600 credit card
I've been running a few businesses over the last few years and it's hit the skids. Not too worried yet as I've faced worse problems.
I do own 7 properties in London, stoke-on-trent and bournemouth.
It's the media that fucks up the story man...
Some (poor) people in Holland came with the idea to give all people a amount of money, for free. By doing that they could start spending more which is good for the economy blabla...
Funny thing is that these people got a lot of support from (probably also poor and stupid) people across the country so our government had a short discussion about the idea.
Offcourse the outcome of this discussion was that this is bullshit and not going to happen.
And that's probably why it's mentioned on a UK newspaper website. But truts me, this is not going to happen (in Holland)!
