whoever made it thew an overwatch jpg and the tracer jpg with some shit background and watermark onto a crappy pixilated white background. I just removed Tracer from her background, and then colour corrected the main background to match the one from the overwatch jpg

Who do people do shit like this? I've never used a wallpaper with a branding or watermarks. Looks ugly and I hate supporting artists. Surely I can't be the only one. Yet people still do it. Thank the divine for photoshop. Is there a reason to this? Simply so it isn't stolen? They're easily shopped and copied. Even when I special order or request.

mostly just recognition, the artist likely didn't think it would be wallpaper. I can understand wanting people to know it's your work but the watermarks are always ugly so I just take them out.

Right, but if you already bought the movie do you watch the end credits? Artists should find a way to have a more removable watermark.
