And I fucking swear to God that people driving Honda Odysseys like to make it a point that my car is slower than their van (at least in a straight line), as they always feel it's necessary to perform a fly-by pass. North dakota here. Got out of the oil right before the crash, was pumping wells for 1100 a day in the end. Long hours and since it was my own business i had all the risk. Now i work in agriculture and make 50k a year. The wife makes 28 ish so combined were still alright. Did the drilling rig thing. Loved it but hated being away from home for so long.

Depends on the V8 you're putting into it. An LS1 for example is fine (and probably what I'll end up going with); handling isn't effected much by it. Miatas have iron block engines; LS1 is aluminum. IIRC an LS1 adds something like 200 lbs over the stock engine but you're also getting three times the power. The added weight might sound bad but the weight of the transmission and differential that go with it help balance it out, too, overall adding something like 600 lbs total to the car. Sure it may be just a little more front heavy, but it'll also be a lot easier to induce oversteer with all the extra torque. There's plenty of videos out there showing that they still do well in corners. I've got a couple friends with LS1 swapped Miatas and I've seen how they handle. But yeah, here's a few examples:

And she got a 2012 Mercedes e350, then a 2013 bmw 528i, and now she has the most advanced car she's had.. A 2016 BMW 428i gran coupe with like every package that BMW makes for the car lol..
