But when you learn about exactly how the Apollo missions and indeed spaceflight works, it's actually surprisingly easy. To quote Buzz Aldrin - it's just simple algebra. The problem is the cost of building a rocket big enough, but the cold war pretty much sorted out that budget issue.
On balance, it was far easier and foolproof to actually go to the moon than it would have been to fake the whole thing. Probably cheaper too.

This guys point is very valid. I was a flat earther for like a weekend, the arguments are very compelling and numerous. For instance, (since those other fags can't google), if you are at any place on the earth, the horizon line always comes to eye level, which if the earth is curved, would actually be lower than eye level (because the earth would be curving down), but instead it comes UP to eye level, like how perspective down a long hallway works (the floor rises to meet the horizon line). Another one is if you are up in a plane, this too is the case, where one would expect to see the curvature of the earth, but instead, again, the horizon line rises to meet with eye level.
The theory also piggy-backs on the distrust of the moon landing and nasa, which some of the evidence there is compelling.
With that said, the theory is wrong, and I actually have reason to think it was all a psyop.
