When I got outside I noticed one of the dogs was barely moving his name was shadow. I asked my parents what it happened and was told they got attacked by Coyotes over night. Shadow had a broken back. You could see in his face every time you moved it hurt. We lived out in the country so putting an animal down was as easy as grabbing the shotgun. I volunteered. He was my dog I love him, so I did it. After i shot him i broke down. I remember sitting in the livong room with my 12 ga at my feet. Seriously thinking about suicide. I sold that gun later that week.
