I want to preface this by saying I didn't think this movie was bad I just thought it's not as good as people say it is, I know opinions are subjective and everything, but every reviewer I hear from says it's amazing. It has a small number of problems but they are really important to the overall film, crucial story points are just bad decisions and poorly thought out. I really love the MCU, but there are flaws in this film I can't condone. Zemo is beyond horrible, he's just a randomer who's family died, I'm not saying he has to be exactly like the comics but he shares nothing with the character, so what's the point of having him? They don't take any chances, no big characters die, while by the end the avengers are divided there are no real important consequences. The final fight isn't because they have conflicting ideologies, by that point they've made up, they fight because Tony is manipulated by Zemo and they make him stupid so he doesn't realise what's happening. There are some great parts in it, it's funny, the characters have great chemistry, spider-man and black panther are great and the airport fight is nothing short of amazing.I thought it was good, but it was just a missed oppurtunity to be great. It doesn't deserve a +90%. I need to know what you guys thought.
