I remember MFF 2013 was Pirates of Lake Michigan and I probably saw a total of one pirate hat the whole weekend.
2014 they made Christmas themed since it moved to December. Which means they basically let Rosemont do the decorations for them.
2015 they pretty much just said "Fuck it, no theme". Which is fine.

Just adding this in, I still would like to go to a con at some point, but I don't know. All I really want is to meet more people, but it seems like I just don't have the time or money to. It seems like I keep missing opportunities.

I really like the the GT40 is a real racecar but the Ford GT has such a better looking rear end and body styling. The interior leaves a lot to be desired, it looks oddly spacious with the shifter being biased toward the driver and it have a very weird boot instead of using leather or a gated shifter. I feel like ford should have made a lower and narrower center console, painted it black instead of the powered coated aluminum and put the shifter there. It just looks like they took the concept interior and then saaid "fuck it" that looks good when it really leaves something to be desired.
But the bias of all the guages and the shifter toward the driver is really interesting and that the center gauge is the tachometer and not the speed dial, in fact the speed dial is the farthest away from the driver. Oil pressure, voltage and boost levels are all much closer.
If I could have a Ford GT with the GT40 right hand drive interior with the shifter on the right hand side, and the canvas riveted seats that would be perfect but with the GT dials.
