Today was a good day, finished wiring the launch controller for my rocket, built an organic vapor filter for my gasmask and cleaned my fishtanks sides.
Reading the YouTube comments on that trailer and there are a ton of people confused about the truthful government spying part, not the added action.

Brutal, I've had Xrsys a plenty when I was little and a chest xray recently to make sure my lungs where clear when I was having a sever asthmatic anxiety attack.
But only one ultrasound and it was unplesent as the technishion was an adorable dark haird nurse and it was an ultrasound of my junk to see if I had voided the warranty by breaking the seal.
That entire month was absolute hell and the following 2 years sucked.

Putting bags of candy into boxes and punching bigger boxes open for 8 hours a day cut up my hands a bit, and that's about the extent of work-related injuries I've had. The whole thematic this year seems way off anyway. They released like an entire novel on background story, faction colors, etc. etc. And made like 6 twitter accounts you're supposed to follow.
It was much more organic last year in my opinion, but it's not a big deal for people like us who care more about spending the con with friends.

Dude I'm barely able to wrap my head around the whole thing. I remember you told me the story last year and it seemed pretty straight forward.
Now I just feel like the whole thing is pretty overwhelming. I don't want to need to know an entire story to get a theme, and as far as I was concerned the theme was always a guideline never really a story.
I'm sure it'll still be a ton of fun but I'm not sure how down I am for all of it. I'm glad nobody is too super invested in the theme out of our group.

Right? They had the perfect balance last year where they actually DID something with the theme, but basically let the congoers create the story.
Like defacing the "Obey" posters as the con went on. I think that was actually a patron thing (or at least it came to be).
One of my favorite memories from that whole con was walking around with Hotshot outside of suit and when the Brother Bear suiter started walking by with guards, everyone just instinctively shut up and saluted him.
