I work in film, if I was making this movie for a purely Asian audience I would use an all asian cast, however this is an international film to be screened all over the world. It needs an actor that is instantly recognizable all over the world and generally well liked.
The production company has invested upwards of 100 million into this movie. By casting ScarJo they basically guarantee 50% or so of that budget back, something they couldn't do by casting ZhingLeeFortuneCookie, this is just smart business, something SJW's don't understand.
On top of that, showed the SJW hypocrisy. Everyone who complained when the Human Torch from Fantastic Four was cast as a black guy was called a racist, and the SJW's discounted the "Be true to the source material" as just an excuse for racism.

I don't really think that's it though. We love Monty Python, the Harry Potter series, Top Gear, and quite a few other British films or TV series. The thing about shit like this that's the most retarded is that 99% of the time, the ethnicity of a character in a story is determined by where the story takes place, and where the story takes place is determined by where the writer is from. This means that the race of a character is almost always completely arbitrary.
