Their biggest break-out hero, Spider-Man, made it big specifically because he wasn't like the ultra-super-powerful godlike heroes people were used to; he had money problems, couldn't get the girl, and screwed up all the time like an ordinary mortal. DC, on the other hand, is all about the traditional bildungsroman and classic archetypal characters. In a fight, DC wipes the floor with Marvel. If the weight was truly infinite, it wouldn't of mattered if he had help or not, since half of infinity is still infinity. He should of been able to lift it himself. Dude DC is way more OP then marvel. DC except for 1 or 2 times where the ultimate event came forward and defeated them never killed their characters. Marvel killed everyone all the time. Marvel had characters with real problems. Stark was a rich play boy who was always fucked up. Cap was a 1940'S Super Soldier thrust into the modern world.
