In the story the comic was based on he was tortured on and off by the guy, but, like the rest of the story, was never given a conclusion if I'm remembering right. Best bit with him was him realizing he actually did love his mother and family, at which point the dude put him on a counter top and played a recording of his mother's mumma song from one end of the counter and placed a container full of his own piss and shit past the edge. Slate chased after the sounds of his mother, limping along blindly on his stumps, until he fell into the shit/piss bucket.

If anyone here's lurking from around this time or later last night, I'm the game developer guy. I usually don't stay up that late, so if you're interested at all, I'm on the booru as FluffyShopDev, and lurk in fluffy threads for hours leading up to around now.
