The issue I have with modern philosophy is how little people take from science. You have people arguing for the universe being determinate because they have no idea about quantum mechanics, or people having a certain view about perception without knowing how the brain works in processing. Its become too isolated. It used to work with other disciplines to aid in development in the sciences and mathematics because it was done by scientists and mathematicians
