I just remembered a good mental abuse story, but it is indeed lots of text. It was about a baby that got adopted by a rich man who gave it a great saferoom, lots of toys and everything a fluffy could want, and the only thing he asked in return was huggies. However, every time the fluffy hugged him, he screamed, fell down and wailed in pain about those being the worst huggies he had ever experienced. In the end the the fluffy felt so sorry for the bestest daddy having adopted such a bad fluffy that he willingly walked into a burning oven in an attempt to prove that he was a good fluffy, dying in pain and tears as his daddy looked at him with disappointment.
