I didn't have a great job back then and spended the rest of the money on traveling and DSLR gear. Gave me more. Plus I'm already enjoying my watch. Sure I could have saved the money, but then I would have walked around with a Casio the past 6 years. Not worth it. If you live your life only in the future, you end up being dead and rich.
