My reply was simply to stress, that science takes leaps of understanding as well. It has too, since we don't know so much. Yes, it's a best guess, but it is not proven in the slightest. People always say, "We can see the effects of it". NO, you see effects that cannot be explained by what we observe. To explain these, dark matter and energy is needed to make the calculations works. A leap is taken, until we know more, but it is a leap none the less.
God exists because you're talking about it right now. The fact that you have a concept of God to deny affirms that the concept exists if only in the abstract. Plus there's a history of cultures worshiping God. So clearly, whether or not there's a thing you can point to in material existence and say "God", God exists in our minds so God is real.
