He turned on the hose and put it out immediately, saying "Christ, what the fuck are you trying to do, you psycho??" I was burning only like 2 logs at a time.
I was buffing/polishing his car (old ass shitbox), and he told me to "hit that spot again", so I rebuffed it. He kept telling me "no, not there... THERE". I'd go right where he was pointing. After about 5 times of apparently not getting the right spot, he pushed me to the ground and said I was fucking it up. I was 8.
I stopped telling him pretty much anything about my life at 15, not even telling him I joined the national guard or when I was sent to Afghanistan. He cried when I came home, and we've been cool ever since.

In elementary school, I once spent all my allowance to buy her flowers the school was selling for Mother's Day. She threw it away into the bin in front of me, telling me not to waste money. I took that to heart and I never got her anything since.
One year, I caught her trying to squeeze sympathy from her friends over the phone. She called 3 persons and each time, she'll ask about what they got for Mother's Day then she'll say she didn't get anything and proceed to weep. Note that this weeping stopped at the end of each call before she made the next call immediately. I called her out for being such a good actress and didn't hesitate to remind her that she was the one who started all this.
