It all depends on how much your getting really. Base price for a gram where I live is $10, but if your getting larger amounts you generally pay less. For example it's common here that 5g is $40, but if you get a freind or friendly acquaintance that deals they can usually give you a discount. Right now I usually get smaller amounts, usually I pay $40 dollars for 6g.
It really is better to buy in bulk, but that being said the last time I got it in bulk ($150 for 3/4 of an ounce) it was gone in a ridiculously short amount of time. Me and my roommate fucking ravished it.
One more tip is the more you pay, generally the better the weed is, but you have to be careful you're not being ripped off by someone who's assuring you "this is the best weed ever man, you gotta buy it man".
