The S7 isn't the best
It's one of the best but it isn't no°1. You have the LG G5 with its removable battery, amazing camera and still has a beautiful unibody design. It's quad core is just as powerful as the Octo cores but more optimisation like the IPhone (the only thing Apple does right) and with 4 gb of ram is fucking powerful and to round it all off its semi modular
The G5 is only serious contender for the S7 as the Sony Z5 is amazing but disappointing as it doesn't have anything new but the new X range might be fun. The Microsoft phones are just idiotic and the sales just continue to fall (in the UK anyway) and the IPhone is just the IPhone. I'm just basing this off UK available handsets though

Phone technician here. Have had my S7 Edge for a few weeks and it's my favorite phone out there. Close second is the G5 but just comparing their stock capabilities, the S7/S7 Edge are better. Lot of co-workers have the G5 and enjoy my phone better, but we all agree that the camera on the G5 is much better than the S7 one, but I'm not a person who uses the camera often enough for it to matter to me.

We have done probably 4 different side by side tests between the iPhone 6s, my S7 Edge, and a co-worker's G5. The dual cameras on the G5 give much larger pictures that provide a huge field of view (semi-panoramic) that wows most people while the S7/Edge give a much better lighting and detailed result which I prefer. The wow factor from the G5 comes from the field of view while the camera on the S7 is simply better overall.
I'm going to buy it just for the camera.
