I was using a regular DVI cable on my 144hz BenQ, and then realized it when my rank dropped in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I was trying to react the same way that I did when I first plugged my monitor with the DVI-dual link(the good cable). Because you have a different resolution or refresh rate you might want to have a different playstyle and try not high motion plays (entry fragging). You guys need to realize the different fluidity between monitors and how it feels like, because indeed you might experience input lag with 60hz. Ofc you'll not be flusha and a good monitor will not compensate for game insight. But at least you will be able to train your aim to get out of situations you shouldn't be in at the first place. I bought myself a 144hz and tried each refresh rate (60,120 and 144) and there is an undeniable difference in between.
