I use the pilot g-tec c4 pen (pic related) it works really well, you can press down as hard as you want, write at any angle, and always get the same fine line thickness, one complaint though, there is no grip so you can hurt your finger if you use a death grip on it for too long.

If he had said he's used "a ton of different pens", I wouldn't call him out and say that 2,000 lbs. of pens is approximately 22,543 pens, because "a ton" is obviously a figure of speech.
