It's always good to trip with people if you're worried about getting weirded out.
Frankly, the only thing to do is wait. This is especially hard to do when time makes no sense. This combined with the fact that an LSD trip is a 12+ hour ordeal makes an unpleasent LSD trip a difficult thing to bear because it seems like it never ends.
I just tripped the hardest ever last night alone, after not touching the stuff in 3 years. Actually I candy fllipped (first time ever). I know myself well enough that I can trip alone, but there we're a few times I needed to remind myself that, even though things didn't make sense, that it was the effect of the drug.
Having music, art, something to write on, etc can be fun and can get you back to a good trip. Then again sometimes overstimulation is the problem.
All in all, I don't suggest not ever trying LSD, but realize that it is a powerful drug that needs to be treated with respect. If you are afraid of taking too much, take too little. No one ever had a bad mild trip, and LSD can give a great body buzz too.

dont think about it, just enjoy. in my experience i have found that taking too little will put you at higher risk of bad trip. because then you have the headroom to overthink your situation, instead of just enjoying your trip. my largest dose is 1500 ug or 10 tabs. nothing bad will happen except maybe self inflicted damage, or mental disorder(only if you have a problem to start with). if you take "too much", then you might be panicking a bit, listen to some uplifting beat music with a steady beat, or go outside in nature, paint, draw, write, sing(very effective) just do something instead of letting your mind take over (if you are panicked, othervise letting your mind take over is very nice and eye-opening)

I've heard benzos are great for a bad trip but I would think if you really overdid it there wouldn't be much that would save you sans getting knocked unconcious.

Actually yes. Just let yourself die. You are not really dying it's just the parts of your brain that generates a sense of self that is temporarily shutting down, but it will feel as tough you are. Once you let go the looping and weirdness will stop and you will be one with the universe.

yeah, haven't experienced extreme loops, but i did get into a loop during my lsa(hawaian baby rosewood seed) trip where i basically just got homesick but times 1000 not very nice, but i have also tried ego death, and it was pretty wild (not crazy, just amazing and interesting)
