They also know that unfortunately there's nothing they can do to change their lives for the better. The average guy or girl can try really hard and make themselves attractive both physically and mentally. But a manlet can spend every waking day exercising, moisturizing, studying, slimming, buffing up, etc, and none of it will mean a damn thing. They will be just as attractive to the opposite sex and to the same sex as when they started. And since they are too smart to be both aware of their situation and confident, they also lose a few attractiveness points in that department as well.
