I highly recommend Shadow Warrior. It's a very well-made FPS with swordplay, guns, some ki (basically magic), and a healthy dose of comedy. It's got a solid 20+ hours of gameplay as well, and the sequel is coming out later this year. It's got a bit of a big price tag ($40 USD), but trust me, it's worth every penny.
Another great game is Dust: An Elysian Tail. It's a side-scrolling hack-and-slash with hand-painted backgrounds, beautiful music, and a very involved story.
On the subject of hack-and-slashes, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a solid game as well.
