I'd like what Anon thinks about crop circles. Because I think that it's real.

It's funny almost everything about it in the internet is telling that it's a hoax.
>>
>>676910263
i'd would also like think is real but becauseing i think it so it do be.
>>
>>676910263
What's the simplest explanation really? Creative aliens or creative humans?
>>
>>676911056
I've watched Ancient Aliens: Circles from the Sky episode. They explain there how is a man-made crop circle different than the real ones. And also, crop circles ranges from various sizes, for example the 780-foot crop circle in Wiltshire, England, you know, it's hard to perceive of how it's made very perfectly and it's definitely not a human which made it.
>>
>>676911056
First crop circle reports back hundreds of years ago. It is made to be appreciated from what's above. It cannot be human.
>>
I know a lot of crop circles are bullshit, but theres something very strange about the one op linked.

If you do some research on it you'll be baffled as well m8
>>
>>676910263
Real. There are thousands of these every year, if it were humans, who create them, we would know.
>>
>>676910263
honestly it looks formal and it does convey a strong massage (about the specific location of planets and stuff like that), so I think its not a hoax because the people who sent the info about humans held that info to themselfs. and i dont think someone would leak info about the humans and have a bright idea to make up some info about other alien civ.

yes, crop circles in general are fakes but this one is different, because it responded to a msg scientists sent to space in a way they asked them. It has specific details about planets and shit... This still doesnt prove lmao contact tho.

>>
>>676913802
Drakes equation is retarded. The probability for all the different factors in that equation are just made up. How do we know the probability of life on another planet? How do we know the probability such a planet can be created?

You plug a bunch of made up numbers into the equation and get a made up result. AMAZING!!!
>>
>>676913757

Also, let's think of if like this: If aliens were able to perceive our message, which was most likely sent via electronic beaming if it was within the last decade or so, why would they fly all the way here to DRAW THEIR MESSAGE IN CORN? Why would they not just respond back with a reply beam, they should have the technology if they can receive the message at all. If they flew here, why would they just write a note in the dead of night and fuck off if they were actually trying to share information?

All it takes is a little bit of thought people. Use your brains.

before rockets were invented, no one believed in "aliens" because it wasn't plausible and didn't occur to them. the thing is that most of our amazing advancements had already occurred and "aliens" weren't that interested so they never appeared.

that's not the point. it's a thought exercise. it's meant to show that using reasonable numbers, there are so many worlds, that you can even use numbers a millionth times that size (unreasonable) and there are still millions of worlds.

it's not meant to arrive at a definite mathematical conclusion. it's meant to show that it is statistically impossible that there aren't intelligent aliens
>>
>>676914868

Don't get me wrong, with how damn big the universe is, it's almost guaranteed that there is, was, or will be something else out there besides us.

Crop Circles where some of the best trolls when they were just that. Circles.

Simple enough to be something that could occur naturally, but weird enough to pose all kinds of questions to their cause.

But the fucking ego of the humans that made them couldn't just keep it like that. They had to inject their own personality and creativity into what they were doing and totally fucking ruined it.

They used to be great once. Now it's just another form of graffiti.

Here is another formula plagerizwd and poorly remembered from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy:" The universe is infinite. The population of the universe is finite. The population of the universe divided by its space is 0. Therefore the population within the universe is 0.

Another way to look at it is, maybe you're right about millions of worlds, but the universe is so big that the heat death of the universe could come before finding one another.
>>
what if corn is trying to leave us a message about aliens.
>>
>>676914816
ok thats the one way to view it, but what if our current technology is the equivalent of banging rocks together to produce sound while their is already on a telephone
>>
>>676914598
You do have a point, but consider: they might have been at our point of evolution millions of years ago. They might have expanded their minds artificially and became god like intelligences. Its impossible for us to comprehend their actions and motivations.
>>
>>676915621
If the rocks are being banged togethor to communicate they must be using a code. If they are using a code it won't appear natrual and they will investigate. If they have evolved to phones they probably can still work rocks, or work their way back to rocks. They will probably attempt to communicate with us in a way they know we understand, like rocks.
>>
>>676915538
Kek'd
>>
>>676915621
What if we have hit the technology wall? I think there's a good chance we're very close to the pinnacle of what's possible. That would also solve the problem of were all the super advanced aliens are. Maybe there aren't any.
>>
>>676915131
Considering we have radio, computers, the internet, science, understanding of mathematics, etc. why the fuck would they think smashing plants is the best form of communication.

If you are trying to speak to a chimp that can to sign language would you try to speak to it by making smoke signals? Or would you use sign language?
>>
>>676915621

Then they should very easily be able to respond to us back in a way we can understand, as opposed to being uppity pricks about it and sending something far more advanced.

If these were real, it would be like the equivalent of someone just getting into a hobby or job or something, and a veteran who actually DOES know all of these things just comes up and expects the new guy to know how to work every bell and whistle in the system.
>>
>Aliens manage to master interstellar travel, which requires a power source that is basically infinite, which means they're millions and millions of years ahead of us
>Instead of sharing this technology that literally changes the destiny of any species who has it, or at the very least making contact, they decide to fuck with some wheat fields by making dank shapes

Fucking fuck, people are stupid. It's pretty much unfathomable that life has evolved elsewhere, but the chances we'll ever know are minuscule given the size of the universe. Anyone with the capability to contact other species isn't going to use to act clever with a precursor to fucking bread.

inb4 "muh perfect geometric shapes"....the fact we can verify they're geometrically correct just means that these "coded messages" aren't exactly esoteric. That doesn't mean that humans couldn't do this, it means that it'd take a lot of work. This indicates you're stupid.. Fuck anyone who buys into this shit. Don't breed.
>>
>>676915535
it doesn't work like that, any intelligent civilization leaves a ton of remnants of its existence in the form of radio waves, gravitational waves and etc.

so you don't have to drive to ever world. you need to drive to a 100 million mile bubble around every world. it's still a tremendous amount, but significantly less.

aliens already found us as the preponderance of ufo sightings show. i doubt they're even from far away, probably alpha centauri.
>>
>>676915293
It's also convenient that they usually happen in a crop after it has been harvested but before the plants are cleared. The aliens always seem to know how to not lose any valuable farming product for the farmer...
>>
>>676915939

If they were that level of intelligent, they wouldn't give a fuck about us. And once again, if they wanted to send an actual message, they would most likely send it in a way that is clearly understandable as opposed to beating around the bush with THIS shit.

Every 6 months or so the military tests a missile in California and one of these videos emerges. And every single fucking time people still think it is aliens.

uhhh you realize that since the dawn of video phones there are like 1000 ufo videos a month and none of them look like that, right.

there are far more videos than ever of things that are legitimately ufos, ie movements that cannot be explained by earthen or near-earth objects

the existence of aliens observing earth is categorically proven by these videos, sorry fam. the fact that you have to link a missile test video when there are literally 1000 ufo videos a month now is hilarious.

No dumbass, not antigravity. We have cars that fold out into airplanes.

Also, there's no real NEED for flying cars. Something like that would take up a fucking ton more energy than is used to fuel a conventional car, and it would end up being a hilarious danger to the general public.

Imagine all the terrorist attacks if cars were capable of flight. Just throw a bunch of bombs into a van and fly that bitch into the nearest public area. We'd need to start defending public events with flak cannons and surface to air missiles, and no one in their right fucking mind is going to allow that sort of shit.

terrorism would be the smallest concern. The average person isn't capable of operating an aircraft. And even if they were self flying the average person still can't keep up with the maintenance an aircraft demands.

How often does the average person check their oil or their tire pressure on a normal car. People think they can be trusted with an aircraft? You don't just pull over and call roadside assistance when you have a mechanical problem at 10,000 feet.
